  • Mavericks is also in Central California. Again... don't drive north of San Francisco because there are no waves up there.

  • 2:05 HAHA

  • Carmel point is in Central California. Don't come up to Nor Cal looking for this wave cuz there are no waves up there.

  • @billywillgo Mavericks are in Northern California, bigger then these waves for sure,

  • some people ride larger boards...some people ride smaller boards, thats how it goes. Sure...the sticks are a big robust for the wave but its snot a snappy wave to begin with so let them be. I'm sure some valley kooks below who ride 4' waves and call it DOH do not get it...ha ha ....kooks. Go suck your moms wad.

  • ok to be fair it looks like there is a pretty wide range of surf coming through. and again, my bad, sometimes there are other factors that influence board choice other than just the wave. but still i have surfed some points in mainland mex that compared with the size in this video and no one out had boards as long as these guys.

but like i said, it depends on what you are comfortable with...

  • mmm...carmel point i assume...

  • 6'6 eh? I HIGHLY doubt you'd catch anything up there. Stay in the OC brah.

  • lol somebody said rincon

  • to those guys who are talking crap about the size of your boards, my suggestion is to go and actually surf waves instead of surfing youtube. Those guys are real surfers, not pros. In the real world, there is A LOT more diversity of riding levels and board types than you see on youtube. B.S. to the guys posting about riding waves this big on smaller boards. If you were a real surfer, you would never leave a comment like that, you would know better.

  • No idea why the heck they are riding boards that big. I have surfed several spots around the world, as big and bigger than that, with absolutely no need for anything bigger than a 6'6".

  • @xisotopex It's pretty mushy.

  • @xisotopex obviously youve never seen this wave live

  • its about 8 foot and there riding waimea boards

  • @berlymaiden Is it fun to be stupid?

  • @sprinklj You tell me douche bag. When you learn what the fuck is really going then reply back. I can surf those waves with my 6 6 fucker.

  • Nice big waves.

  • shit watch out for rip tide..

  • were is this spot
