  • SHUT UP ABOUT RELIGION AND ENJOY THE MUSIC! God...!

  • Sometimes the stars we see on earth have already died, but their light still exists. No matter how long a star lives, its light may be seen somewhere in space...forever :)

  • this is the music the big bang listened to when it created the universe.

  • @valdabad The big bang is such a half-assed theory. It doesn't explain anything, just sets the question back one step.

  • @Lanephotography222 and religion does? at least with the big bang theory we have some pointers to show that it is at least a plausable explenation.

  • Comment removed

  • What I said is that all the big bang theory does is set the question back one step, and it's the same thing with any universal origin theory. If I was an atheist I'd simply state that the universe has always existed in its current form. That makes a hell of a lot more sense than the current abstract psychobabble they spew about some sort of pinhead that did not abide by physical laws as we currently understand them.

  • this should be made into a song for jesus

  • It means eternal light, or Forever. thats sweet :)

  • where can i find this picture?

  • I can imagine heaven with this song

  • Lux Aeterna= Eternal Light

fitting that when I heard this I was doing Latin homework

  • @SgtSMC96 I Take Latin too =D

  • Looks more like a pulsar or the blackhole at the center of the Milky Way....with Earth near it.

  • This is the first song in my playlist: Heaven music ;)

  • ummmm wtf requiem for a dream has a song called lux aeterna and you think they would have trademarked the name lol

  • THE PICTURE OF MOVING MOTHER OF GOD

  • This song is amazing.- Sorry to state the obvious lol =-P

  • @AngryNZKiwi sometimes to state the obvious is to be the most insightful

  • Comment removed

  • @DarthSalmon

    Haha thanks =-D

  • either Two Steps From Hell means heaven or it means we're two steps from kicking it's ass.

  • Lux Aeterna translates from Latin to "Forever". A fitting title. I could listen to this forever

  • @giausjulius4 that's what google thinks, but it's actually Eternal Light.. pretty epic title

  • I was so stressed... But then I heard this and peace returned in my mind.

  • The Big Bang started with this song :P

  • one second into this song my browser froze and crashed but the music kept playing....i may not be atheist anymore...

  • this is noe lux eaterna lux aeterna is by clint mancell

  • This is a very haunting tune I think

  • Go potterlover99! that is something epic in itself, (what you wrote) By the way, this song, is so calming, I want is.

  • Just by the way, Lux Aeterna means Eternal Light in Latin. How fitting. And I thing @warriorKatKarl is absolutely right. This is what the chiors of angels sang when God created the universe. That is why stars are so beautiful, they were created with eternal light.:D

  • @potterlover99 nah once the fusion fuel runs out it shrinks and dies or goes supernova

  • @Toiletclottingpoop Or worse... collapses under it's own weight into a singularity (black hole) and floats about the universe consuming other stars.

    ........................What?

  • @potterlover99 One problem bro...the stars go supernova or white dwarf and then brown/black dwarf...stars like everything else in this god forsaken plane of existance doesn't last forever...and it is god forsaken because it is where he cast Adam and Eve off to when they disobeyed him

  • Hmn... kinda sounds something from Final Fantasy. :)

  • This song inspired me to make a video to accompany it, /watch?v=FwQvOsdZnSY

  • After one generation dies away, a new hope is reborn.

I hope you pass on these words of wisdom

  • They say something's wrong with people. I agree. While junk like Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber get thousands of hits every day, true beauty like this gets nearly forgotten. I found Two Steps From Hell on ocasion and ever since it has been my company in so many situations. And each piece fills me with a different sensation, all powerful to the point of making me shiver, dream and sometimes, even cry.

  • @Raiigen yes i accedently stumble on this and ever since i loved it.

  • @Raiigen AMEN!!!

  • Should we die for the fiat of humanity..? After listening to this, I sure will.

  • This is what God listens to when he creates things

  • @warriorKatKarl

    fuck god

  • @buletule What the hell. I was only kidding! I'm not religious. Why would you even say that?

  • @buletule The fact that God has a son does not automatically mean you can fuck him...

  • whenever i say "its the last song for now i better go do my homework or smth" i find it impossible to stop and always end up listening to more songs

  • Music is beautiful, it is of the pure soul itself. It joins us, bonds us. It is the universal language!! All our emotions can be told from music, you do not need words.

  • This is music that feeds the soul and calms the mind. I could get lost in this forever....

  • Was this in Donnie Darko? ;v; So beautiful, reminds me of it.

  • Wow... Such music touchs the soul.

  • Reminds me of Gladiator.

  • TSFH, another way of saying omnipotence.

  • @thunderstorm997 Honestly, the best music I've ever heard in my life...

  • what a beautiful song. And i must say, the background picture is breathtaking!

  • I came to this video because of the username.

  • this is the only song, in my entire life, to make me cry, im a man now.

  • @aaroniero432 yes my brother, you are.

  • @aaroniero432 Same here..

  • The first song that made me cry AND ejaculate.

  • Eternal light....

  • Lux Æterna has always perplexed my mind into something greater. If I'm walking along the street everything seems to fall into tune with it, it's weird and mysterious, yet comforting. Completely awesome.

  • Makes me feel like earth is just a small part of a growing universe teeming with life. So mysterious and yet comforting..

  • There's another song called Lux Aeterna... it's really cool :)

  • As the two looked up, they saw the lights coming together. Their feelings for each other was so powerful, even the lights in the heavens were abound with rejoice. they looked at the stars for a while, then back at each other, as the lights began to fade, they embraced each other, and finally, they were together at last. -Lux Aeterna

  • Ehtern had a firm grasp on his sword, Polinh looked at him ''There's thousands of them, what do we do?''. An explosion of light suddenly filled the sky. Ehtern looked up ''Lux Aeterna...'', ''E-excuse me?'', Polinh gave Ehtern a strange look. Ehtern turned towards Polinh, ''Eternal Light Polinh! It's our sign!''. Polinh nodded and grabbed his sword and pulled it out of the ground and lifted it, They jumped into the valley filled with thousands of orcs.....

  • Light Eternal = Lux Aeterna

Tis' Latin and a beautiful name.

  • that was asgard

  • Hey, you stole my wallpaper!

  • Very cool song and copies many of the main musical "colours" of György Ligetis "Lux Aeterna" :)

  • how do u people find this stuff

  • @acemahmood its called telescopes

  • Is this song available on itunes? I need to buy it!

  • anyone know where top find the picture in this video

  • @Oneill3010 I'll TinEye it tomorrow if I remember.

  • why i have gossebumps on every two steps from hell track....

  • @crisiscore100 Becuse they are godlikely epic

  • @Lustergotgame9 disagree...temple of times theme is original and fits...two steps from hell should remake the temple of time theme

  • I figured 2 steps from hell = In Heaven

    Would make sense like:

    Hell - - - - Earth - - - - Heaven

Earth is 1 step from hell, heaven is 2 steps from hell

  • @49mylo Don't forget Purgatory :P

  • @49mylo people make this connection a lot and it almost makes sense, until you consider their piece called 'Two Steps from Heaven' and the way that it sounds.

  • @49mylo How did you notice this ? o_O

  • @49mylo but..2 steps from hells gate sounds so much cooler D:

  • @49mylo

But then the song Two Steps from Heaven would take place in hell, even though it's a super happy song, and the song Two Steps from Hell (Yes, it exists) would be in Heaven, even though it's a very aggressive tune.

  • i want this image where i can get it ???

  • @wedhorror

    Print Screen, Crop. Done.

  • sounds a little bit like avatar- when they sing

  • There is a way better song than this song...

    The extended version!!!!

  • Cool fact : the singer in this track is the composer, Thomas J. Bergersen :)

  • @Mondisto What?! He sings in this track? I had no clue. It really is a cool fact.:)

  • @erettew

Yep, he said so on his facebook page a few months ago. Also you can hear Nick Phoenix sing on the track "Am I Not Human" :)

  • the pic... looks like it could be a space crusier, looking out at an ending battle. and the Commander is watching the explosion go off and knocking down all comms inside the radius... "for those who had to die in this war, your brothers and your sisters will forever remember your sacrifice. rest in peace my comrades, and always remember, my sacrifice to you is to live to be a better man."

  • This picture is incredible...

  • i wonder how epic the music get when we're only 1 step away from hell...

  • @pumishumi I think the 1 dislike guy is there(lucky)

  • @pumishumi following the logic of 49mylo one step from hell is good old mother earth

  • Each time you thumbs down a song of Two Steps from Hell you get one step closer...dislikers, beware!

  • wow..just..wow, this is very beautiful, my head ache's gone.....

  • It looks like it's moving

  • @Arthreas @Nooblaster2 it's not moving ^^ ..i checked..3 times :P

  • @aninsvet :p

  • I teared up. I used to sing songs like this in choir. I miss choir. I miss music. This is nostalgia and joy all wrapped in a blanket of music and love.

  • I like this version more than Clint Mansell's one (requiem for a dream)

  • that pic used to be my laptop background for like a year

  • This is really nice piece, but there is only 1 lux aeterna, and that one is from clint mansell ...

  • @DoPMN You, sir, are the most sane person here. Reqieum For a Dream is one of my favored songs of Clint Mansell. However, I still think Two Steps From Hell beats out most orchestra pieces if not all of them. In fact, if I was gonna make an orchestra playlist, over half would be by TSFH.

  • @Gogetankz Thank you :) TSFH is idd really great and their music is incredible, and I agree that they beat most pieces of music but for me clint mansell's lux aeterna is better then any piece of TSFH. But hey, that's just a personal opinion :)

  • that picture is my desktop-backround since 2 years lol

  • If the ever make a Halo movie, I hope to God Almighty they let 2SFH to score the soundtrack

  • Shadows dance in the fire's light,

on this cold and lonely night.

A coyote yelps his lonely call,

echoing through the land like empty halls.

  • Comment removed

  • O_O WOW where did u get that pic

  • I came for the picture.

  • That picture just makes me want to praise out creator ^-^....... Bruach Ata Yahuah!!! "Blessed by Yahuah"

  • @nuggermyme I couldn't agree more!

  • Ever so bright,

    my Lux Aeterna,

    my Eternal light.

    Guide me through the night.

  • i tought i have lost this song but finally i get back to you. best feeling in the world listening to this

  • Its like the picture is moving, breathing, coming alive.

It's so amazing to look at the stars when this music is in the background

  • this track gives so much feeling , just like floating in space and observing the magnifiscence it has

  • the picture, it almost seems to move..

  • @808jayhawk The picture and song is so moving that it causes us to perceive it is moving ;) Great song.

  • @808jayhawk It isn't. But if you focus on it like i did for 20 seconds, it started spinning. So yes it spins, but its just an optical illusion.

  • @808jayhawk That's a side effect of listening to TSFH... the epic music causes you to imagine things...

  • @808jayhawk

Seems? It's moving to me O_O

  • That picture is beautiful. I wish our earth was near a cosmic event like that.

  • @Newmex421 we'd be probaly dead from radiation or something.no thanks,i like the solar system the way it is.

  • This music reminds me on World of warcraft... dunno why... but it's EPIC!

  • @Handycam25 He was saying that TSFH's music is heavenly. It was also a pun.

  • where did you get the wallpaper from?

  • I get goosepumps *O* The voices are very beautiful^^

    So heavenly !

  • I can listen to this forever.

  • This be my newest desktop wallpaper.

  • If I was on my deathbed, in my last moments, I would have no other music playing in the background. 'Tis truly beautiful music worthy of god(s).

  • Really wonderful music. Always reminds me of how little my problems really are :)

  • One Step From Heaven = Two Steps From Hell

  • @lgbm777

Two Steps From hell = Heaven :

    Heaven --- Earth --- Hell

  • @lgbm777 would u explain please??

  • @lgbm777 Heaven = Two Steps From Hell ........ Hell->Earth->Heaven ;)

  • @lgbm777 So your on the ground basically?

  • @lgbm777 idk how that makes any sense. Two Steps From Hell BUT One Step Towards Heaven sounds much better.

  • @lgbm777 So does that mean normal people are 1 1/2 steps away from both?

  • @lgbm777 Nope, you´re wrong. There´s three steps; Hell, Earth and Heaven. So Two Steps From Hell = Heaven.

  • @lgbm777 Unius gradus de Coelo, Duo Gradus ab Inferis. Sounds better.
