This is my City.

Enjoy this Video of some of the most beautiful scenery you'll see anywhere. This is a warm embracing Town really, it's only referred to as a City because it incorporated and elected a Mayor and City Coucil. When you visted expect an atmosphere of a small town and not a City.

Robby I love Laguna Beach, and i love California in general, but laguna for me is like Home from Home. Love it. I live in Southern Spain on the Costa Del Sol. Their is a town called Nerja on the coast, in the province of Malaga, I tell you if you came over, you would feel very much at home, with the Mediterranean Sea as its back drop and lots of history. Check Nerja , Spain on Google earth . I go every year to laguna and stay in Cypress drive, Love Las Brisas Restaurant.

Please. Tourists, stay out. And go less often. I'm 13, and I feel the effects. Laguna Beach is my home. I grew up here, and here comes people that like to come along and go to my "ecosystem". Polution in our beaches has risen like crazy. In 5th grade, we did a test of the beaches. Main, to Thalia/Anita. Anita had like 78% less polution than Main which is filled with tourists. Anita and Thalia are always filled with locals.

And our local resturants and shops have been going out of business. Since the property becomes even more valuable, the land owners boost up the price. Store owners either go like "fuck this shit, I'm outa here" or they try to stay as longs as they can before they go bankrupt. Examples of stores.

Jolly Rogers, Javiers, Grants Icecream, Jamba Juice, and many other stores I don't want to name. Please, if you read this, keep our little town isolated. It's the last on in CA.

Im sorry, but that's kind of hard. Laguna is a wonderful place, that is meant for people to visit. You should be proud that your "little town" is a major tourist site, that everyone is awed by it and keeps going back to experience more. So again, thanks for your concern, but your home town might as well be the 8th wonder of the world.

So, if I lived in OC back in the 1960s and 70s then come back to visit L.B, does that make me a tourist? Without tourism L.B.'s economy would tank, the streets would be in disrepair, trash service would be problematic, police and fire services would be dismal. If you want isolation, you need to move to a place where tourists don't want to go, like Yemen.
