@leanton01 yes to best help you with this say the inequality outload. The values that make the inequality true is where your inequality will point. Hence x<8 means all numbers less than 8. The line points goes to the left. However 6<x says all numbers greater than 6 so the number will point to the right.
hi I'm taking algebra 2 as a sophomore instead of a junior. My class is also mostly juniors and I'm struggling. I cannot grasp piece-wise functions especially. This really helped me. Thank you so much!
I get back home from rehearsals (I'm a theatre kid) at like, 9-10 pm, and I have HUGE unit test in math tomorrow, and you just like, totally saved my life here.
I did not understand Piecewise Functions at ALL, but after watching this video, I know I'm pretty much ready for my math test tomorrow! Thanks for the video, it helped so much! (:
Great man, yes my videos are done in class so I try to make them as quick as possible but a lot of times we like to over explain things. I am glad this vid worked for you
I kinda just blanked out in class today, so I kinda missed this part of the work.
This is one of the few videos I could find that got straight to the point. Honestly, this is not a hard topic but it seems everyone splits it up into 10-20 minute videos which is quite unnecessary.
Awesome, piece wise functions to take a little bit longer to understand because they are so unique. But once you understand them, they are hard to forget. I am glad my video helped you out!
Great teacher. He's interesting to listen to and explains the material well. Wish I had him as a teacher.

The way the line is graphed, does this depend on the sign in the inequality?
