I had a dog named Buddy although he lived a long life. It was heart breaking to see my little buddy pass away. This song is one of Hank Snows greatest for all those that had there own little buddy.

I couldn't listen to this last year when I lost "my little buddy ",it would have been too painful.I am trying to get up the guts to get another little dog but the hurt of losing them stops me at this point.
