Yeah Coleridge wrote it.

Tennyson was not even classed in the same century Tennyson was from the 17th and Coleridge was from the Romantic era (16th Century)

Coleridge wrote it, alright, but your datings are way off. Both of them wrote in the NINEteenth (19th!) century, although Coleridge is born ~35 years earlier than Tennyson and thus wrote slightly earlier too. This IS indeed the romantic era - the beginning of the 19th century.
