@DunnoThrasher Well, as for now it isn't "the worst" anymore. It just wasn't powerful enough to do some tasks I needed :-) For other tasks, its simplicity is still appreciated :-)

It is still good for educational purposes, but now there are other PICs which cost much less and have plenty of features.

kindly help me, how do i interface the PIC microcontroller with the computer using RS 232? may i know what is the schematic of bootloader and the software.. thanks... I'm a user of dallas ds89c450 and the software that im using is the microcontroller tool kit by dallas.. i want to try PIC controller.. thanks
