I am now 13 and when I look back at the video I laugh! and I never knew it was on youtube until like 2 months later. i can go on, but tell u what, not many people care anymore.. in the 1920s, consumerism, and capitalism, blinded people, of the limits of wealth.. leading to speculative, and derivative markets controlling the mkts.. hence the depression. the same thing happened in 2007-08. People brought houses, beyond their means.. banks invested the money into futures and derivatives.. giving value to something, that has none. Technology, blinds us too.. sad isnt ? buts its ok, people live.. happily somehow.

The pharmaceutical industry bank rolled the US govt in Bush administration with the Med D package. Ronald Reagan got the US out of recession in the 80s, by increasing military spending.. Bush, destoryed the 1930s, public utilities act, in the 2005 amendment, that allowed Nuke plants to run, 20 years past their due date. .. well it happens everywhere.

This song is beautiful. It honestly made me cry when I first heard it. I think this song is amazing. I've been through so many hard times. And this song makes me feel like I could have devoted my life to so many better causes. I still dream of helping the poor, needy, and homeless. This song may be directed to George W. there are some circumstances where you can have things done to you ex. lose a job. but, you can lose your job and find a new one, I do not care what you are spouting off about unemployment and such, its complete BS, you CAN find a job. It may not where you want to be working, but you can find one. I am done arguing with you about it, American people just need to stop thinking "Poor me" this and that, and get off their butt and do something about it, we have no pride in hard work anymore.

@walkercw36 im thirteen and i haven't been able to do what i need to. i'm taking advantage of AVID and i'm all honors and even PACE. but i'm still having trouble getting along. they keep saying, you'll go to college, be a college girl. they keep saying that but i don't see why college is important. they keep saying i need to try and i want to, but i cant. he hasn't given edu. enough for kids like me, who maybe just don't have the psychological advantage to understand why it needs to be this way

They have let America become dependent and do nothing to fix it. We're relying on china who practically owns us. The song isn't entirely fair, of course. Being president is the worst job ever, because you're the country scapegoat. No matter how much good you do, people find something to blame you for. Everything that's wrong with the country is your fault. Every single president, no matter how positively we remember them now, was criticized for something in their time.

You tell it to those people that due to the hike in prices can't afford to hardly feed themselves. You can't blame the border patrol who are getting shot by cartels coming up here. That's due to the president and congress throwing money at it and hoping it gets better. They aren't even trying to deal with the major problems.

Look at the economy and try to tell me theres jobs unemployment is not falling and those fast food places have people on a waiting list to be hired there are little- no jobs look at the unemployment centers registration. Social security is never gonna be perfect but it was a retirement plan when you cut it people who use it can't afford to live

Half of the stuff she says in this song are not the fault of the President at all. How can he sleep when there are poor on the street? Most people that are poor and on the street are there because of past mistakes and it the consequence of choices they have made, not the President's fault, nor anyone else's but their own. Most of the things in the song she says are the same way as well, nothing the President should do about it.
