@mrslave5544 It's not about God being a nice God or a loving God. Scripture explains that God is a just and Holy God also. Every sin has to be atoned or "made up" for. He is a God of perfect balance. The only thing that we have that is acceptable to God to make up for sin is Jesus Christ. It's not about what you did or didn't do. From the beginning we are unclean. To enter his kingdom we have to be clean because he is clean and perfect. Just accept Jesus Christ. God is very clear about that.

Ex: If a rapist perpetrated an offense against several women and a judge allowed him to be set free without punishment, society would raise a fury and say the judge needed to be fired, because a just society MUST enforce justice against criminality and evil. God is no different. In being a holy, just God, he cannot tolerate wickedness and therefore must punish it for the penalty of exacting justice.
He punishes every sin, no matter how minor, with eternal torture. Society recognizes that as unjust. Even rape, as horrible as that is, does not deserve the punishment of eternal torture.

@mrslave5544 It's not about God being a nice God or a loving God. Scripture explains that God is a just and Holy God also. Every sin has to be atoned or "made up" for. He is a God of perfect balance. The only thing that we have that is acceptable to God to make up for sin is Jesus Christ. It's not about what you did or didn't do. From the beginning we are unclean. To enter his kingdom we have to be clean because he is clean and perfect. Just accept Jesus Christ. God is very clear about that.

Ex: If a rapist perpetrated an offense against several women and a judge allowed him to be set free without punishment, society would raise a fury and say the judge needed to be fired, because a just society MUST enforce justice against criminality and evil. God is no different. In being a holy, just God, he cannot tolerate wickedness and therefore must punish it for the penalty of exacting justice.

this world itself doesn't make sense in and of itself....there is no book that is more disputed, dissected and argued about then the Holy Bible....if one just leads their own life with no guidance what soever they would be lost....some where down the pike of life most of us heard Bible teachings and learned something we wouldn't of learned anywhere else that sets the ball rolling and sparks an incredible curiosity of light when along came darkness and most ended up staying with that..then death

Our species would have never survived to hear "revelation" if it didn't posses these things. Don't offer meaningless platitudes. We don't accept any holy book as authority. For most people that have not been indoctrinated from birth, and who are objective, they look for evidence. Reading the bible won't do.

If they ever succumb to rational thought, the brainwashing collapses. Even if Christianity is THE true religion, I am screwed anyway. Since God made me, knows what I'm like and controls and knows everything about me, he is directly responsible for what I do. He knows what I will do before he creates me. He knows other people and I will choose to disobey him and yet he STILL creates me.
If any human designed a bridge that they knew was dangerous, and built it anyway and killing people, they would be arrested and brought to justice.

A God of some sort might exist. Great. How can I be so arrogantly sure that the God of the Bible is the right one? What if it turns out the Muslims or Jews have it more accurate, or maybe none of them are right. Either way, they are all equally sure that their ideals are the right ones.

OMGoodness .. How much copyrighted material was "borrowed" to recreate this vision of hell?? The intention is good, but the execution was hypocritcal.. I mean, isn't using copyrighted material to create an "original" work without the consent of the actual author/artist/creator STEALING? I dont exactly embrace the image of hell being all fire and brimstone. Im leaning more toward the idea that hell is the absence of God, which is MUCH MUCH worse. Ask Jesus, God had to leave him on the cross.

So basically, God's going to torture you eternally for a finite crime in a game that you never chose to play.
His justification is that he "told you" his rules in the Bible and through mind games of prayer, but that is grossly unfair given how easy it is for the mind to play tricks on itself, and that the Bible is a vague, old book written by uneducated goat herders in a time of informational and intellectual stagnation.

What if YOUR wrong and the Muslims are right and Christians go to hell? There is only one version of the Koran throughout history with one language. The Bible gospels were voted in and some later added and removed, the books of Peter, Paul and Luke and proven forgeries and not to mention all of the languages though out history it has been converted to. Doesn't sound like something a perfect supernatural creator would make.
