  • i was there in Feb 2011 , i loved it all

  • man he is better than crossing frog in a gameboy

  • i wouldn be that dare!!!

  • he has matrix, i meant magic.

master class: the art of crossing street in HCM lol

  • The river took him :(

  • Its too bad they let personal cars on the road...take up a bunch of space.

  • THAT WAS LEGIT!!

    -reckless

  • it is the habit of VietNames driver and people, who cross road .

  • he cross the road like a shadow

  • I have a feeling the guy who took this video is still standing there..

  • When there is no laws, every one is careful. But when there are too many laws, who care? they will pay me any way.

  • @NordManShaneD I know it's Vietnam. WHERE in Vietnam?

I lived in the Cholon area.

  • I hope Vietnam can grow up to be like one of its neighbor. Like South Korea or Japan, or even China even.

  • @NordManShaneD Where do you live?

What I'm talking about is the Cholon area. I don't see much.

  • I went here for 2 weeks and I don't know why but I didn't enjoy it as much as I should or. Now that I'm back in Australia I'm starting to miss the place. I might actually to back in a few years now when I'm older to see how it's changed.

  • @nathrox2 It called lively in Vietnam www

  • I been in vietnam in NOV 2010 for 2 weeks, I love the poeple and country but I just hated the traffic . I couldnt cross the streets because there is no traffic lights, its crazy how poeple live in such chaotic streets with millions of motobikes, I urge the vietnamese government to enforce the traffic lights upon its citizens....this in not right

  • @hassanwingate It's really easy, and quite safe. Like I said just step out, and walk slowly, and people drive around you. I drove a motorcycle and it was fine, like being in a school of fish. One trick is to use slow moving vehicles to block.

  • @hassanwingate Vietnam's doing fine like this. Plenty of people walk, and there's rarely any accidents.

See, in America there's plenty of accident's and people 'speeding through red lights and crashing'.

Yet here, no lights, and people do just fine :P

  • The flow of so many motorcycles is mesmerizing.

  • you just have to walk slow

and give people time to react

i shit myself the firs time

  • Wow what a fantastic video, thanks so much for posting, that school kid is incredible lol

  • Hey, road crossing in Vietnam is easier than you think. Even a 7 years old kid can manage without hesitating...

  • haha, love it!!

  • Wow that's so cool :D theres like toddlers on the motorbikes too! they probably have less accidents than in the us :)

  • Traffic like this won't work in most western cultures because they are too arrogant and selfish to compromise!

  • it really easy to cross the street i do it all the time because my mom store is across to my house so i cross all the time and it worst than this

  • OH yeah baby! Coolest thing I've seen a while, and do I watch vids on youtube. It is just pathetic to see how in the US they stop all the f*cking traffic so that the kids (bigger than this one) can just get off the freaking school bus.... way to go american system; very effective way of making those kids so street smart NOT.

  • Oh yeah baby!! That rules!! How pathetic to see how in the US they stop all the f*cking traffic so that kids will just get off the freaking school bus; that only makes them so NOT street smart. Way to go american system, LOL.

  • Yes, a normal day in Saigon. The thing you must understand is that although there's a ton of trafic, it moves slowly enough for motorists to see all that's happening, and react in plenty of time to avoid most accidents. Even in an accident, most Vietnamese are calm, and deal rationally with the situation, unlike us Americans.

  • @TangTuyetMinh LOL! my grandpa would approve :P

  • What if it rains?

  • lol. I used to do the same thing. Crossing the streets with bunch of bikes moving toward me. But since i moved to the US and looked back, i swear that i would never ever do that even just 1 more feaking time.

  • now I don't feel so bad stuck in traffic here in Cali... but it's still sucks eventhough it's the safer compare to all other countries in this world... as known for now.

  • school boy in white shirt like as Jesus walk on water!

  • You know, I'm vietnamese... It's not like everyone goes crazy like that. Some do, some don't... Like me... i live in America for 8 years, so I'm different. ^__^

Anyway... I admit that Vietnam traffic it's like.... something can't describe. Oh.. and a boy in white shirt is a student. Only student study Vietnamese school act like that. Internation School in Vietnam, the students are really nice ^__^

    Good video anyway

  • @Aishiteru1902 fuck off

  • Traffic there is like walking in a crowded mall. You just have to watch out for people pushing big carts (buses and trucks).

  • Geez, you people are like a fricking ant colony! What we need is a big ass can of RAID!!!!

  • in vietnam, people afraid of motorcycles or cars but in usa, cars and motorcycles afraid of people

  • it seems like frogger the game on hard lol

  • I had no idea that mopeds were this popular ANYWHERE...

  • Can you imagine almost 8 mil. people in an area about 810 sq. mile all driving cars? It's not possible. You will never make it out of your street because all streets will be packed with cars bumper to bumper. Thats why people ride scooters around. It is also not as bad people think. Just don't make abrupt movements while riding & you will be fine. Enjoy the liveliness of the City, the great food, & the wonderful people. You will see how hospitable & unpretentious the Vietnamese people are.

  • they watch out for each other. that's how it works. I've driven these motorbikes many times in Saigon and I can tell you, it's fun. at first I thought like many westerners, but after a few months, it's normal.

  • HOW THE HELL?

  • This is sad when watching videos of traffic in China--most vehicles on China roads are cars.

  • there aren't enough room for cars in big cities in vietnam,it's to hot for cars,in china it's cold, they get snow, vietnam only the north does

  • that boy have more balls than me. made me feel like a sissy.

  • it might look crazy but its not that bad once u get used 2 it

  • Hoy cow, did I just see a boy walk into that? ...or am I just seeing things?

  • That is the only way to get across the street. It never stops!

  • holy shit!! O___O that boy is INSANEEE!!!

  • hahaaa yeaahhh xD i nearly laughed my ass off xD

  • i went there in 05 and thats what its like pretty much 24 hours a day in the centre of saigon. crossing the road is much easier than it looks.

  • Whoever said Asians were bad drivers?

  • they just jealous

  • The smoothness and rhythmic pace of traffic reminds me of a swarm of crickets foraging on the ground

  • yes, I'm living in Ho Chi Minh city, unless there're some mad drivers, if normal you can walk slowly and will be ok! Drive too.

Any way, I hate vietnamese traffic, I hate the roads here, traffic jam happens every day, and very serious, how lucky I'm living in the surburb (huh is this the right word?, I want to mean far from the center), if you work in the city, 100% you will meet traffic jam every day, it should take you from 30 mins to 2 hours a day, according to your distance

  • It's funny because I've driven there, it's way easier than you think. Crossing the street too, you just step out slowly and people go around you. It's very organic, when you're in it.

  • @Kyrin206 agreed ive driven there too its very fluid

  • @Kyrin206 LOL

  • WTF??????????? !!!!!!

  • This video proof that Asian are actually better drivers than most people in the U.S.

  • @redhatlinux06 Not true, the true test would be to add snow or try making most of what they drive have four-wheel full size cars. Scooters are easier to drive than bicycles.

  • @redhatlinux06 FUCK YOU

  • @67tr876 check it now American, if u like youtube.com/watch?v=W8uucm2nBRc&feature=related

  • the trick to crossing the road is to act cool, then start walking slowly and predictibly. :D

  • i did the same thing when i went there in'06 and i was about like 10 yrs old

  • Luasi oamds oaidm apoerk pasdfl

  • This's such a gang bang,lolz

  • impressive CROSSING...i love the traffic...I love the people...most of them din obey any traffic rules. i wonder what r the traffic lights and police are doing? most of them are driving with no LICENSE no Helmets Under Age and more traffic Violation...

  • i remember back then beforei move to america it used to be all bicycles and few motorbikes and prob like one car lol.

  • Du är så söt när du sover

  • What is you say??? One Question too much bike, not car?

  • at present, saigon is 95% motorcycles, 5% cars. considering the growth rate, in a few years, the pendulum will swing the other way. just imagine how crazy traffic will be with cars dominating the streets of saigon. yikes!
