This isn't really a trick it is called a arpeggio, and it is easy to tell the difference between someone who knows what they are doing and who doesn't. Not to criticize to much but that was very sloppy playing.
but thats a trick and tricks make people not authentic at all so i would say to all people try not to sound like others or like the elite its all mind programming if people say you need to sound like this and that or if people define for you what sounds good and what sounds bad - its just a trick to programm your believe-system so just go complete your own path with everything. i respect knowledge and nice information but i don´t respect the elite at all music is art and art has no rules!!
@konjunktion26 WOW...I have finally come across someone that actually knows what they are talking about.
My producer is always trying to convince me to do a track in this or that genre, he's a nice enough guy, and he's done alot for me, but it annoys the hell out of me because I always just try to create sounds and music my own way...there ARE NO rules to art..do what makes you feel good.

The tip is cool indeed BUT
it opens the door for some potential embarrassment
Because if you "sound" professional sooner or later the expectations will turn into requests and the initial "victory" will quickly turn into SHAME
Again the tip is cool indeed however it is not a good idea to impress people on the piano if one does not know how to play.
Maybe a magic trick could work better and youtube is thriving on those.
Just a thought.
