If you want to gripe about the deficit (which is far less than other states our size) why are you blaming Perry? The legislature is responsible for legislation and appropriation - not Perry. This is a lame non-issue brought to you by the same people who want MORE spending and MORE government programs - IRONIC!

White is what we need for Texas. By Perry's not participating in a debate with Bill White, he is disservicing the voting public the opportunity to make a choice in November. Apparently he cares less for the voting public because he must believe he'll be reelected nonetheless. I was going to vote for Perry, but by showing his disrespect for the voting public by NOT debating (as all worthy politicians should do for the public), I will be voting Bill White in November. He's the one for TEXAS!!!

I was at Dallas Love Field on a return trip to Baltimore Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport and saw the front page of Texas Monthly Magazine that says Rick Perry for President. My guess if you don't beat Rick Perry then he will run for President. Well good luck
