I know this is late in the game, but I just watched this video and thought it was a cool idea. I love to make films, but I always end up doing all the work (I.e. Writing the script, directing, casting, producing, planning, basically everything besides acting all the characters). I'd really love trying to make a movie from a script I did not write. I've got to say I've never had the balls to direct until I had to force a few freshman boys into acting a scene from Lord of the Flies for a school activity. I have film-making experience, despite the lack of videos on my youtube account, I just don't get around to completing them. But in the fact that I always get about 80% through a project, then lose motivation, I have picked up quite a bit of practice. I think that I would be a good candidate for a script for a few reasons. 1, I have a week off now so I can devote a lot of time to it. 2, I am a capable stop motion animator in case there is any animating involved. 3, I am rather creative with a fairly good sense of humor. I want a script because all of my stop motion videos have never had an actual script, just moving objects. I have a green screen for special effects. I use Sony Vegas 8.0. And I ran out of all ideas in my head unless I get an idea.

I've got to say I've never had the balls to direct until I had to force a few freshman boys into acting a scene from Lord of the Flies for a school activity. I've got to say the experience was so worthwhile I've come up with various projects and in turn I've had various people come to me wanting to take part. We do this all for the fun of it, to get together and have worthwhile experiences. We'd love to have the chance to make one of your humorous ideas come to life.

Hey, I don't know if your still doing this but anyways...Me and a few of my friends have been wanting to start our own web show. But sadly the only idea they can come up with is one wher I read a story to a filthy hobo sleeping in my garge...It kinda sucks, I know. Anywho, I just thought I'd try this and get a good idea for our first episode. I also know thats its probably not still going, and even if it is I probably wont get one. But hey, Ima gambler.

I am extremely dissapointed with how this project is comming along.
There were over 10 scrips given out almost a year ago and there has only been 2 finished projects - abliet very good ones.
Hopefully people are just taking thier time and havent' given up.

While it is highly unlikely that the offer still stands, this video being almost an entire year old, it is certainly something I would have been honored to participate in had I been aware of it at the time of its first release. It isn't often that we get to see such a brilliant film maker acting so generously with his material, and applaud Ryan for this act of genuine kindness.

Dear Mr. Murphy, if you're still doing this, I would be absolutely honored to procure a video worthy of your script writing.
I have film-making experience, despite the lack of videos on my youtube account, I just don't get around to completing them. But in the fact that I always get about 80% through a project, then lose motivation, I have picked up quite a bit of practice. I am most definitely sure that with a script done by Ryan himself, there's no way I COULDN'T get it done.

I think that I would be a good candidate for a script for a few reasons. 1, I have a week off now so I can devote a lot of time to it. 2, I am a capable stop motion animator in case there is any animating involved. 3, I am rather creative with a fairly good sense of humor. I am 13 and would appreciate it if you would consider letting me produce one of your scripts.

If you are still giving away scripts, I would be honored to have one. I've made some movies before, but now I'm looking to do some things with puppets - think Jim Henson kind of puppets. I'm starting work on the puppets this weekend though, so it will be a little while until they are ready go, perhaps a month or two even. Are you still giving away scripts? I used to do comedy stuff on youtube...making cartoons and the like, and just silly skits with my friends. Anyway, I want to get back into it and I have the ability to now and the time so I was wondering if you could part with another script? I want a script because all of my stop motion videos have never had an actual script, just moving objects. I have a green screen for special effects. I use Sony Vegas 8.0. And I ran out of all ideas in my head unless I get an idea.

sorry, i've been off line for a while (due to BOOT CAMP), so i just saw "Free Scripts". sorry Ryan. Honestly i would love to give it a shot, with a good idea and all, and as a member of the USN, money budget is no issue. but sadly as time goes the navy leaves me very little. so i look forward to seeing more of your creations at my earliest convinence.
