Awesome soundtrack, unique storyline for the time, bold CGI executions when most movies were FXin' it old school. TRON was a milestone in cinema.

Today, everything is roided-up with CGI tera-byte processes and green screen shooting. Reintroducing TRON now is like pissing in a community swimming pool.

If anyone has seen or known of the original Tron they would get it, but for those who don't this is basically what Tron is. Tron is about a guy who gets zapped into his computer program. There, the MCP (Master Computer Program) wants to kill him and kill all "users" or humans. The only way to defeat the MCP was to download a virus in it. That's Tron in a nutshell the original was made the 80's I believe.
