How to patch ExplorerFrame.dll in Windows 7

Know why after I end explorer.exe and start a new explorer.exe, a message of "the application was unable to start correctly 0xc00007b" pops up?

@didoma73 It might not be safe to use old explorer.dll files (from old themes). SP1 updated most system files to a higher version. So using an older version can possibly be problematic. Tap F8 several times as soon as you turn on the computer. Select "repair your computer" and do a startup repair and see if that fixes it.

@IWEBProductions Never mind, figured it right after I typed that up. Turns out I put the x86 in the 32 folder, and the x64 in the 64 folder instead of the x64 in both folders. Phew. Thanks for the speedy response.

HELP ME PLSS PLEASE SOMEONE!!

i don't want to go to a computer expert YET cause i first wanna know if i can fix this myself,

i replaced my explorerframe.dll in system32 with one from a theme and the other one in syswow64 too and than when i stopped explorer.exe and than tried to make a new one it gave me a error then i restarted my computer and it said explorerframe is missing or something so i'm now on someone else's computer cause (obv) i can't use mine atm ;( so please someone help me !!!

@ByVxIJa Tap F8 several times as soon as you turn on the computer. Select "repair your computer" and do a startup repair and see if that fixes it.

@IWEBProductions thanks man :) but i allready fixed it by going onto save mode's with comand prompt and than checked my computer for damagd or corrupted files and it found explorerframe.dll and replaced it with the original one :D

ok i did this, then when i wanted to change back to original to see if it works....it doesn't work? and after that i restart my pc and got black or white screen....also it keep saying i need to reinstall ExplorerFrame.dll....for my pc to work....any ideas how to fix this? Please respond back!!!
