• @acat543 Ok unless you were alive 2000 years ago than your opinion means less than shit.

  • I don't get it. So, God sent himself, to kill himself, as a sacrifice to himself, to act as a loophole, for a rule that he created? Weird

  • @Demon666Evil No, he did not. He was sent by his Father. Who told you he was sacrificed to himself?

  • 100% GOD

    100% HUMAN

    0% SIN

  • @Raigunz Amen

  • teehee DEFINITELY one of the highlights of this VERY powerful movie. Jesus explaining the tall table to Mary makes me think of that time we've ALL 'tried' to teach mum how to use a mobile phone. all mums get the same expression as Mary in this clip lol!

the kiss is adorable, i love how it shows the playful love between mother & son. brilliant :)

  • Jesus is awesome

  • It's funny cuz I have a table that's similar to that design.

  • can someone explain to me the hidden message of this scene? there must be something to it. you see, the problem with parables and such is that for someone who is rather simple minded like me can easily miss the message... so.. a tall table for a rich man? I don't get it, what is the point of this scene? what is the hidden message? (granted its very charming :D)

  • @CrownVictoria45 the hidden message is in the simple things;-).

  • @CrownVictoria45 To really understand this scene, you must understand how people ate back then. There were no such tables, in fact, they reclined on the floor, typcially leaning on one arm as they ate with their feet out behind them. The tables, or mats, were very close to the ground if not touching it.

This is exactly why Mary is portrayed to be so astounded by the tall table... it makes no sense, and clearly only a 'rich man' would have such a device.

    Really neat part!

  • Wow, that table is so smooth without using sandpaper. I wondered if J.C. going to stain it.

  • @KoreanSatan i don't think the intention of the video is to make fun of it

  • "this will never catch on" O Rly?

  • @Kayla13saphire the bible says "eyes were like fire"

  • @ISmellLikeP00 "his"

  • @Kayla13saphire

    Hi Kayla,

They had to put brown contacts in his eyes because, Jim C. has blue eyes for real.

    God bless

  • Great.

  • So cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • his eyes are like fire. but still gives off a gentle gaze.

  • @fallentearify One can say his eyes resembles to that of a lion....

  • @fallentearify i wish i had those knda eyes..

  • This is the best scene

  • Thank You Jesus for inventing tall tables.

  • @pepealbat123 Hahahah

  • @pepealbat123 Like everything Jesus did, this is symbolic as well as real. The tall table declares the new altar from which all may feed of his sacrifice and truth.

  • @noleyplatz thats very insightful

  • @pepealbat123 lol a jack of all trades!

  • @pepealbat123 And tall chairs:)

  • can everyone just stop debating and watch this beautiful scene?

  • what is the music in the background please help?

  • Thank you Jesus for invent the tall tables!

  • this is not aramic, maybe a few words.

    the rest is improvisation.

  • @bosooooooooooooooooo YOU NEED TO REPENT

  • @bosooooooooooooooooo :Shame on you.

  • in this scene , i find jesus doing his job with utmost dedication and concentration...fulling a scripture verse that "do whatever your hand get's to do with all your might " jesus is great.

  • really jesus is the handsome and young god in the world he has a wonderful personality mel gibson had brought it in this scene................a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry cuteeeeeeeeeeeee scene

  • Jesus....HIS EYES!!!

where they really that breath-taking wow!!!

  • @scorpioatql "He grew up like a young plant and like a root out of the dry ground; he had no form or comeliness that we should look upon him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by all, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, and as one from whom men hide their faces, he was despised, and we esteemed him not." (from Isaiah 53)...sorry no!

  • @holdupdown i get what your saying but whats so wrong about saying that jesus was attractive when he was probably even more beautiful than that actor?

  • @scorpioatql scriptures tell that jesus was foretold to be unattractive so he pretty much looked physicaly like a regular guy, it wasnt Jesus looks that people were attracted to it was hias teaching.

  • if this is the best scene in the movie, then i think its pointless watching the full thing

  • i wish i was alive when Jesus was.. he could had been my best friend....i dont belive the science fiction , but i do bellieve his vison = "a wolrd of love"

  • he is technic freak like all men!!!

  • Ibelieve Mel Gibson and his filmmakers told the true story i also believe that man has for gotten the price that was paid ,but as for MrGibson he is a man to and i believe he heard the voice of god when he had the idea of this and for this GOD please bless the people that made this movie and the people that watch it IN JESUS NAME

  • This was so, i can imagine!

  • Jim Caviezel is the best actor

  • I laughed my head off when Mary said "This will never caught on!" about the tall table. Unfortunately for her, it did caught on :D

  • its so close to arabic

  • Can jesus even afford a table?

  • OMG!!!!!! Could you please, please pretty pretty please upload the entire film just like this scene in hd with subs and everything PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

  • This movie was made according to "THE DOLOROUS PASSION OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST" by Catherine Emmerich... google it! I read the book!

  • cute scene

  • Haha... looking at this, it reminds me, that Jesus too is a man like me.

  • THATS BEAUTIFUL, HE LOVES HIS MOM :)

  • @ManOfSteel62013 he loves all the same!

  • This will never catch on! XD

  • Jesus should get a patent for that.

  • Mel Gibson loves Jesus! Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to come up with this cute scene.

  • Jesus was not a carpenter. His father was. Jesus was a student of rabbinic tradition then became a teacher, then a preacher, then a martyr.

  • I love this scene!! I know Jesus had/has a wonderful personality :). I can't wait to talk with Him in Heaven :)

  • Clarification: The Torah, along with the rest of the Old Testament, was written in Hebrew. The commonly spoken language in the first century at the time of Jesus was Aramaic, though Hebrew was still used in the synagogues and in liturgical settings among the Jews. However, the New Testament, generally speaking, was entirely written in Greek, though Jesus most likely spoke Aramaic. The Latin Bible came later and was translated out of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. This of course is mere summary. Yay

  • The Bible was wrote in Latin because it was the language that was spoken everywhere, same as english now . :)

  • @comgigi93 mmmmhhh, english is not as widely spoken as latin was at its peak.

  • @comgigi93 actually the Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew and the New Testament was originally written in Greek. Then translated into Latin then English :)

  • @comgigi93 Why the heck do you think the Bible was written in Latin? The Bible was written in hebrew and greek. That's why the Old Testament is also called "The Hebrew Scriptures" and the New Testament is also known as "The Greek Scriptures". Even the roman soldiers used to speak greek in Asia.

  • @comgigi93 Actually, the Old testament was written in Hebrew, then translated into Greek after Alexander the Great's conquests hellenized much of the (then) known world. The New Testament was originally written in Greek because that was the language the Gospel would be best brought to people, considering it was the lingua franca of its time. The Bible was later was translated into Latin (called the Vulgate), but it was only known by the clergy and nobility. Common people could not speak/read it.

  • @comgigi93 that's not true, the bible was written is several different languages, hebrew, greek, some bits in armaic. But the full thing was Not written in latin.

  • @comgigi93 Yes, and Greek too is important (a little older/ Hebrew and Aramaic) But I do love the Latin Vulgate.

  • @comgigi93 Err, actually the New Testament was originally written in Greek because it was the Lingua Franca at the time, not Latin. Moreover, the Old Testament that would have been used by the earliest Christians would have been the Septuagint, also written in Greek, for the same reason.

  • @comgigi93 it was "written" in latin. you're welcome.

  • The Quran is in Arabic, the Torah is in Hebrew...Why is the Bible in Latin? It should be in Aramaic.

  • @npaki786 The Koran is in Arabic, the Torah is in Hebrew but the Bible is in 456 languages, and there are about 1300 languages translations in progress...

  • This film is a MASTER PIECE! and a proof Mel Gibson is the Goya of this century...Esta pelicula es un OBRA MAESTRA! y la prueba de que Mel Gibson es el Goya de nuestros tiempos.

  • Mel Gibson may not be a perfect guy, but who is perfect?...I mean, if he was able to come up with this beautiful scene...it says something nice about him, doesn't it?

  • @leopoldvs Not necessarily, not saying he isn't, but the Bible does say how God uses the foolish for His purpose. The Holy Spirit came upon me when I was 14 and used me to witness to others when I wasn't saved, God can use anyone He wants to accomplish His Will.

  • @ChildOfGod389 Interesting argument but God -as any other artist- indeed needs tools to create a master piece and such tools must be in good shape in order to be used properly. If God is going to use one of us, the chosen one must have something good inside or at least the potential to be good, like what happened with Paul de Tarse. Thank you for sharing though.

  • @leopoldvs Well that's a nice view, but I do believe that God will use the wicked, because the Bible says that there is no GOOD in us to begin with, unless you have the Holy Spirit within you of course, which is God Himself leading and transforming you. So that comment is untrue, there is none good, not one. Jesus said that. And Saul Himself was a murderer of Jesus' disciples, so was there any good in him? No. He was chosen by God for GOD'S work instead, God will take anyone for His work, but He

  • @leopoldvs transforms, molds and equips them to be used effectively. "And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments." (Matthew 19:17) ~ I certainly had no good in me when God used me to speak to others, I was into goth at the time and had no spiritual knowledge of God at all, but the Holy Spirit came upon me. So to say I had "good" in me at the time is going against the WOG. He use who He wants.

  • @ChildOfGod389 You say that the Bible says "There is no good in us" which is sad, because I always thought Jesus gave his life in order to clean us from every guilt inherited before (I'm talking about the 2nd Covenant)

  • @leopoldvs Well you're gona have to take that up with Daddy, because that's what Jesus said Himself. No one is good because we are all born into sin and we STILL sin. We are only made righteous through faith, grace, and affiliation with Christ. He is like our ticket lol.

  • @ChildOfGod389 My Theology Professor told me once: "Before Jesus, everyone was born guilty, after Jesus (after his Sacrifice) everyone is born innocent...what people do after with their lifes is up to them (Free Will Principle)"...The point is that Mr. Gibson made a beautiful tribute to Jesus with this film and also touched so many lifes with it. Thank you :)

  • @leopoldvs Nobodies perfect anyway, exactly why we ALL need Jesus. :)

  • @KDellzkeepsitreal Everybody needs a friend.

  • @leopoldvs To make a movie like this takes something special.

  • @cantucesar1988 Amen

  • @leopoldvs

He's a racist. He hates Jews, which is entirely hypocritical because Jesus was a Jew.

  • @Ladiesman1447 Or entirely contradictorial on behalf of his detractors, meaning Hollywood's jewish producers and directors who have started an unfair campaign to destry his image...I love Mel Gibson and I support his career. And as Robert Downey Jr. said: "Let him fu#$% work!"

  • @leopoldvs

What unfair campaign? He hates Jews, he's a racist, and you're no better for defending him simply because you like his movies. You're like the people who say "forgive pollock, sure he raped an underage girl, but his movies are great!". It's pathetic.

  • @Ladiesman1447 Just stop behaving like the Pharisees...What's next? For you to tear apart your vestments?...People like you need a Scapegoat in which you can focus your own frustrations, failures and sins. I say people like you love to see the straw in the neighbour's eye instead of seeing the beam in your own eyes. Stop judging, stop dogging and hunting Gibson down; remember, you guys are not perfect. There is real dangerous people on the streets right now who you should be focusing on.

  • @leopoldvs

Amazing, so instead of the racist person needing the scapegoat on which to focus their frustrations, failures and sins, you've actually turned it around on people who don't like racists... Truly amazing how you've twisted that so much.

  • @Ladiesman1447 Just remember: "Hating our enemies is easy, the real task is loving them". I hope you can find peace someday my friend :)

  • @leopoldvs

I think you're using Jesus to excuse his crimes because that's what you want to do in the first place. You like his movies, so you want to like him, but he's a racist, but Jesus says love your enemy, and since you 'want' to do that in the first place, this is very easy for you not a difficult task at all.

If Mel truly feels sorry for what he's done, I will accept that. If God can only forgive people if they repent, why should we be held to a higher standard?

  • Comment removed

  • @Ladiesman1447 there are worse people in this world you should be worrying about

  • @Ladiesman1447 Well maybe he should come to you for advise Mr. Perfect

  • @911TVify

Now you're just being facetious, Mel has a problem with alcohol, rage issues and he's a racist, he clearly needs help so don't attack me for pointing that out because you like his movies, learn to differentiate between the two.

  • Is the Aramaic Language ... a lost dialect .

  • @comgigi93 it's still spoken in some villages in Syria like ma'aloula! a very beautiful language which need to be preserved

  • This language is seem to Arabic language, I understand many words without use translation

  • @ArabianQueen221 Aramaic is closely related to both Arabic and Ancient Hebrew.

  • This language is seem to Arabic language, I understand many words without use translation

  • Even Jesus had a sense of humor and used it on his mother. lol

  • He's the Son of God, but he still gives the table the old "If it bares my weight it works" test. Lol. Nicely done.

  • I love this scene! :D

  • :) I really warm to this scene. He's just chillin, you know, just making a table (which, by the way is beautiful!). It makes Him so real to me, so relatable. I love His expressions and the interaction with His mother. Nawww I love the affection!!! But hey, I love Jesus in general :D :D :D ♥ ♥

  • @NedOS1013 Nah, he's just being playful just like any other human being.

  • @MyGosh20 Oh thanks, yea i was just wondering

  • Would it be considered a sin to tease his mother like that?

  • @NedOS1013

    no. He is loving her.

  • @ScScruzer831 I see

  • @NedOS1013

Yup :) Now if his mom said stop it Jesus and he didn't stop then that is another story all together. Obey your father and your mother. And that comes with a promise from God, that you will live a long life. :P

  • @ScScruzer831 True that my friend. God bless

  • You're welcome ! :)

  • The scene is so touching. I loved it. :) Thank you for uploading

  • I love this scene; it's so sweet.
