I downloaded the Whistle Phone APP and I tested it and it works perfectly. Your video was very very informative and thank you for it!
However, I have one question, are you 100% sure that the calls made by Whistle (using wifi) are not logged by AT&T at all? I really need to know this.
Be rest assured that calls made through Whistle Phone app do not get logged by AT&T and hence do not use up your local minutes. You can easily verify this through your online AT&T account. Hope this helps...
hey guys. please help me.. it keep saying line is not ready.. and idk wat to do. because last time i was making a three way call.. and all the sudden it hung up or so. on the peps i was on the phone with.. and i tried calling back but i cant pick a line.. it keep saying the line is not ready.. please help me!!!!!!!!!
@loveroses1397 I am not sure what password part is troubling you. You need to create an account first and then enter the login details to access the services. If you are not able to get past that screen, it would help if you could provide a screenshot of the screen where you are stuck.
@truvoip - Thank you all the people who helped m..i went to the website and asked the same same question too..i felt so special because many people replied to me ... and i love the app by the way =)
@kbawesome101 Just go to your Google Voice Settings page, then click Add another phone and add your Whistle Phone number there. You will have to confirm the number. Once confirmed, you can use your Whistle Phone to receive calls from your Google Voice account.
@baconator1745 To me it is a superior option if you make a lot of calls to US numbers. Fring does not allow you to make or receive calls without using a VoIP provider.
However, if you want the ability to use multiple IM networks (e.g., Google, Skype) then you may be better off with Fring/Nimbuzz.
@TheBlackHawk449 I completely appreciate your point and I would personally like these firms to expand their services beyond the US, but lot of it depends on the regulatory and economic environments across various countries. Hope things get sorted out soon :)

Do you have to put your area code?
kbawesome101 1 year ago
@kbawesome101 No, it works without the area code for US numbers. For international calls, may be you need to enter the country code.
