this is very interesting............... perry uses that other guy in his solo album and a possible replacement for steven tyler....so steve finally finds inspiration..walks onstage and gives a great performance to show he cant be replaced like that..but i'm glad someone lit a match under steves ass to get his shit together

Steven wrote about this performance in his book. He literally walked into the building, right up on stage, performed, walked straight through the crowd and out of the door. This was not planned, and no one knew that he was going to show up. I'm guessing that's why the other "singer" looks so awkward.

@Thorgal20 peace, all im saying is the last 5 albums were more radio friendly than their older stuff, ' dude looks like a lady' is an awesome rock song, but it does have a pop element to it, now compare that song with mama kin or draw the line. I like the older albums more but i still like the new ones, but you are right i didn't listen through the whole new albums, but albums like ' rocks' 'get your wings' toys' and 'draw the line, those albums i would listen back to front,

I prefer live version from Big Ones, and yeah I also prefer old stuff, but as a fan of this band, I know every album from the very beginning to the end. and the last 5 albums weren't pop rock! it was damn pure hard rock. So I recommend you to listen all their albums from the beginning to the end.

@Thorgal20 like i said i have listen to all the older albums back to front, even 'rock in a hard place' aerosmith is one of my favorite bands of all time, but back in the late 80s and early 90s i was listening more to def leppard and guns and roses, so all i heard from aerosmith back then were the radio hits.

And according to Rock in the Hard Place when I was a kid, I hated this album, because Joe and Brad weren't there, but after couple years, I changed my mind about it. Now I think it's really damn good album, and songs like "Jailbait", "Lightning Strikes" are one of my favorite songs:) My fav albums are: Toys in the Attic, Rocks, Get a Grip, Nine Lives.
