I am a Christian, and I saw this film and I enjoyed it. This man is not a servant who was called, nor did he listen to God's will. The hand of God was visible in this film but only when it appeared to close doors on this man and his project. The bible says we are here to love others and spread the Gospel, not for our churches nor our ambitions. And to anyone who criticizes us for our faith, what makes you any different from the religious extremists you so openly mock?
@edenccamargo I got a quick tip for you. God doesn't call on anybody because he doesn't exist. It is fun to hear you judge your fellow christians though. You guys seem to do a lot of that.
I love you Christians. Whenever a super loony tunes spouting member of your faith (regaurdless of which branch) comes out of the woodwork you guys get all "well he's a disgrace to Christianity, certainly not a REAL christian like me!". Hahaha you're ALL THE SAME.
the "fake" science of chaos don't you mean? megalomaniac wanker. Christians saying oh this guy is crazy, do you think us normal people see you any different from this guy???? not in the slightest you are him, he is you.
The trailer doesn't do it justice. I saw this film last night via Cinefamily and I haven't laughed out loud so hard at a movie in years. I'm from the Bay Area and vaguely do recall the WYSIWG Craig's List casting notices and how nutty they were. This film was ridiculously hilarious and I'd see it again in a heartbeat. Aof1 should be mandatory viewing for film schools.
hmm, well I would like to say this would inspire some intelligent conversation about Christ. However, it seems as though this is just another story of a preacher using his influence for his own gain. God will hold him accountable for that crime.
This to me, as a fellow christian, is a complete evangelical hoax. He's influencing his church members to make a film that HE wants to do, by completely LYING to them about it. It says in there that "this is the message of God". Bull. The message of God is to spread teachings, not make a movie about it. This "biblical movie" is nothing but a blaspheme towards christians, and an excuse for a preacher to fulfill his dreams of film making.
@fret171 A preacher lying to his flock for his own personal gain by saying God wants this done? Nah, that could never happen in a million... sorry, I mean a thousand years!
What's absolutely ironic, is that most of America is delusional in the fact that they think we're free, and that the media and the government tell us the truth. But the facts are that we believe every lie they tell us. So some guy is writing a movie, and wants to do something fun. So what? So the movie is whatever. There are not too many good movies out there. Let's see... M. Night Shayamalan... The happening. hahaha... what a joke. What's more pathetic is you guys even noticing. wow.
praise God for paying your rent for five months, allowing you to continue production on such a magnificent steaming heap of piffle. delight in your delusions while they last, ye lobotomized ancestors of chimps.

This guy has always been the most amazing eccentric genius. I'm not surprised at all that he is making movies... And this is just one amazing thing about his life. He is ahead of his time.

@100cjkennedy It's fun to hear you judge everyone that believes in God. You're so religious for someone with no religion.

any doubts, any "haters" who speak out against this movie know nothing of god and his capability to do all things.
