@justerman1993 I actually think Craig is a better vocalist. Ronnie definitely has a more unique voice, but I don't like how often his voice squeaks...and I don't like his low screams at all. Craig can do high and low screams pretty well. I'm not trying to hate on Ronnie, because he's good at what he does, but Craig doesn't get the credit he deserves. Craig can hit highs/lows whether he's singing or screaming and that is impressive, especially when he sounds the same live.

@justerman1993 Also, I'm probably not giving Ronnie enough credit. He has a great fucking voice for the most part, and has the ability to write great lyrics. While I wasn't impressed with most of the lyrics on TDIMIY, when he was in ETF, he wrote some great stuff. I'm definitely anticipating FIR's next album though, because now that the ETF lyrics are out of the way, he can get even more personal and just have fun with the recording/writing process.

And this issue about the fans is the same concept as when Ozzy left Black Sabbath, the fans followed Ozzy cause he had a distinctive vocal, and also well because the band they loved is without a key member so it isn't the band they fell in love with in the first place.

All they have said was that they couldn't tour because Ronnie was on probation, and that he was a drug addict. Max has never talked about being drug buddies with Ronnie, or if Ronnie was pushing him into doing more drugs like he supposedly was doing to Ronnie.

In fact, a lot of people thought Dio was a great replacement and was better than Ozzy. Ozzy did have a huge impact on music (obviously,) but Dio did too, and he also had a distinct voice.

I can admit to being a fan for not so long, but most people act like they've been fans since the band started (and that's obviously not true for most people.)
