  • Look where your intelligence got you.

  • You have no idea about what you're talking about.

  • I'm am sooo disgusted at these black boule celebrities. They are not idols or good representation of black people. They are an embarrassment. Black people be you own idol. Look up to yourself ...not these coons.

  • you are whining and complaining about beyonce, she was inspired by FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI.. go and look up this name because am damn sure none of you have ever heard of this NIGERIAN MUSICAL ICON. is this not the same minger calling us africans "PETS" ? and saying "OBAMA IS NOT ONE OF US WE WERE DOING HIM A FAVOUR"??? so what are you complaining about then? after all, the tribute had nothing to do with YOU .. its about us africans who are busy being "PETS" ... ridiculous creature..

  • Oh my God!! It's a relief to hear wisdom!

  • It was distasteful because she is not dark skinned! Why not have Ataui Deng or Ale Wek?Their beautiful supermodels! They could have posed with her!

And as far as the comment about Racists only posing in blackface...someone needs to do reasearch!Bert Williams was a blackman who appeared in blackface! The problem is that this sort of publicity is wrong, it's not needed. There was a time when "we" didn't have many options. But today ,there are more opportunities .Intelligence or just plain Greed?

  • Beyonce is not as bright as Nenendude is but that should not be the measure of a whole person. Beyonce has done well in many areas. She is a black married woman who has succeeded in her career. I am not college educated then should I be treated poorly. Certainly that ad was distasteful.

  • the media is always going to pick up more negative than positive with blacks anyway, you should know that.

  • i agree 79% lol the beyonce thing was not an insult and i highly doubt she ment it like that, but your intitled to your own opinion many would call you insecure with your blackness for getting offended i happen to be mixed and my white family thought she looked beautiful. Her dad also happens to be very dark. And the 2pac thing.. kinda agree but he was like one of the only rappers telling black women to keep their heads up, and glorifying darker sister 2, (that ppl actually listend to)

  • Ilove your style, however I have to advise caution labeling Wayne & B as not being intelligentall creative people are intelligent

  • OK PEOPLE SHE WAS NOT IN BLACKEFACE!!!!! SHE PAINTED HER FACE IN HONOR TO FELA KUTI WHO USED TO PAINT HIS!!!! AND THEIR ARE TRIBES IN AFRICA THAT PAINTS THEIR FACE!!!!!!!!! WHEN YOU ARE ANGRY ABOUT THE PICTURE YOU MAKE YOURSELF LOOK UNEDUCATED ABOUT YOUR OWN PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF NIGGADOM IN THE US!!! THE PIC WAS SHOWING LOVE TO AFRICAN ROOTS!!!!!!!!!! DAMNIT!!!!!!

  • @jlemaire22 Fela Kuti never did Black face. And you don't know shit about african tribes.

  • @dearestjen fela was an artist and guess what if he was alive there would never be a "fela the musical" because when alive trust me, HE DIDNT NEED THE MONEY .... we are not all poor and wretched like the media feeds you LIES ... and as a YORUBA WOMAN i am not offended by beyonce's photoshoot and i am nobodies PET, like this misguided fool calls africans out of hatred and resentment.. it is you americans complaining and minging do you see any african complaining here? .. only a troll channel will

  • pretending to be an "african" will ever complain about beyonce's photoshoot ..

  • @jlemaire22 thank you !!! at least there is ONE BLACK AMERICAN WHO U NDERSTANDS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE PHOTOSHOOT.. this woman here is full of hate for us and has issues she needs counselling .. she even hates on obama saying "ohh we are just doing him a favour" ? wtf?

  • i fully understand the history and the meaning of "black face".

one thing people are forgetting is the context in which she is taking the pictures. The fotos were taken for a FRENCH magazin in honor of FELLA ( an legendary nigerian musician). so the campaingn is made to target frenchs with african backgroung. and in france there is no history of blackface what so ever. so this more an african face painting and not "black face"

if it was for an US-magazin i dont think she would have done it.

  • lil Wayne Koala bear looking ass don't like his Momma for having him & since she so happen to be dark-skinned he's using that as an excuse next Beyonce air head brain dead, wild horse looking ass next... I understand your frustration girl that bitch is tired for that blackface shit. She needs to get her ass whooped straight old school hood style, drag out in the middle of the street by that fake azz weave of hers & get that can of whoop azz, Knock some damn sense into her retarded azz. 4 dat one

  • oh and by the way what tone would you say your skin is ? , hmmm ?

  • so what black ppl did you like ?

  • jeezz what about micky mouse theres a rat we make fun of ?

  • Lady your entire video was full stupidity and quiet frankly made no sense

  • You're ignorant that's all I have to say. And you're the shame to the Black community, not Beyonce. Btw, there is a huge African community in Europe, and we did not get offended. The photoshoot was in the memory of Fela Kuti, a nigerian singer. Beyonce's pics had nothing to do with African Americans, so I dunno why you're so mad. I'm African and proud!!! And for Beyonce to pose for l'Officiel just shows that she is not afraid of where her ancestors are from, that is all. Thank you!!

  • @Armendyify I agree and I think she has no idea of the concept of self responsability, she call Wayne and Beyonce dumb when musically they are far from dumb beside all of that she only rants what she see's their doing on TV by her usage of words here in this video clearly this is a woman who does not possess the ability to THINK ,critically think.

  • What happened to black folks being offended over something that actually offensive

She wasn't even in black face. LOL.

  • LOVE THE VIDEO !

  • sorry you african americans are so insecure that its hurt..we AFRICANS dont give a shit about that.we dont let other people have such power over us like you guys do...we dont have this negative association with " blackface" like you guys do.she was dreessed by an african designer...besides painting face is a traditional things all over africa..yall need to get over thats shit

  • Then Taio cruz and he's crap about never meeting beautiful black girls. I guess in his mind, even his own mother and sisters and female cousins are not beautiful and then rihanna, lil kim, etc and their bleaching and now beyonce with the black face. Jesus, It's sad that we have trashy people representing blacks in the media. The black celebrities that are popular are the stupid, ignorant individuals and the the good blacks that will represent in a good way are not popular enough.

  • Some Black celebrities are becoming more and more disgraceful only God knows. It's sad how hollywood is making a fool out of them yet they sit down and take it like a bitch. We all, hopefully still remember that crap solider boy said about thanking the white masters for bringing them out of Africa, and allowing them to have blings, etc. Then lil wayne and he's crap out about darkskin girls.

  • hi memun

how re you love you new video

    i will emial you soon

  • what the hell are you on about rihanna is a great singer and she is a very atractive woman and she's the first barbados singer to get that fameous. i say you just hateing

  • @Samuel115s Yes! And if rihanna had painted that on her face she would get bashed like crazy.

  • i think their is nothing wrong with what beyonce did i think it looked very artistic and nice and no it werent black face because beyonce is a black woman her self also no one should be afended because beyonce is black she may not be dark skin but she is still black if shes geting payed good money then why not i say fair paly beyonce

  • you made my day!!

  • You really sound so fucking dumb! how can you sit there and say beyonce is disrespecting black people but shes paying tribute to african woman that payed the way for black people period!!! Beyonce didnt take pictures in blackface posing with funny faces or anything like the white people did when they posed in black face downgrading black people!!! Its clear to me that you really dont know your history! smh

  • bitch u sound so fuckin dumb bitch look dumb.......u jst mad bitch cuz u cnt afrd the damn magazine

  • I'm an African - I might not know all the history about the blackface minstrels in the US BUT i know what Beyonce did is out of line-As she is child of a black man and creole woman she should've thought better-Sigh-Powerful Black Women like Miss Cicely Tyson, Miss Aretha Franklin and Mrs Michelle Obama arent swayed by vindictive magazines such as Lofficiel- No these are wise strong proud Black women that Mrs Sean Carter should book tutorials with to learn to walk with Black pride

  • In fact, I ask: Did you didn't even see the whole photo shoot. If you did, you would also see her in OWN skin color in various outfits for the theme of the shoot. The "blackface"---which wasn't--served a purpose differently than what blackface really is. This "controversy" miminalizes the impact of what blackface is really about, almost in a Cry Wolf kind of way.

  • And then you have the nerve to call Beyoncé unintelligent and inarticulate but don't understand the difference between what she did with her photo shoot and what "blackface" really is. The white media is making a big deal and the "black" blogs who are mostly controlled by them are right along with them and you just followed right along with them because simply because YOU DON'T LIKE HER.

  • For the poster: Your insulting of Bey and Lil Wayne's intelligence actually shows what lack of intelligence you have. Who are YOU to call someone a coon because they don't like dark skinned women? I don't agree with his POV but I don't knock it, in the same way I wouldn't knock a woman who like tall and dark-skin men. It don't take away from my feeling of attactiveness. That's the beauty of life, everyone likes what they like.

  • Blackface is not fashion forward or edgy and in my opinion, it is just flat out offensive. Black folks must have a zero tolerance policy for any manifestation of blackface, period

  • If people allow this blatant cross into the offensive zone there will certainly be more to come Whether the decision to pass off blackface as fashion was made ignorantly or not, there has been enough rumble in the jungle for the industry to be aware of itself

  • YES it's sad that being LOST is fashion now....BUT WHY IS THAT BLACK PEOPLE?

  • you just mad cause your fat ass hell and beyonce is fashion anyway

  • girl shut the fuck up

  • People really need to educate themselves! These photos are NOT "black face". Using makeup to make your face darker and the "black face" makeup that was used to degrade and objectify black people are very different! You & other people who are playing the worn out race card should really do your homework before trying so hard to be offended by that which you do not understand! Black face is not brown, its literally the color black, and is accompanied by exaggerated white lips around the mouth!

  • @devajeaco07 Tomatoes/ tomartoes (the shade of the paint lol) Fela Kuti is not even as dark as her tribute photo. Maybe she is depicting one of his wives? but why only the face avec lace front why not African threading? a degree is not required to spot foolishness.

  • @ladyinthewood oh...you poor thing....dont respond to things that are beyond your comprehension. a degree is not needed to spot foolishness, but it might keep you from spouting ignorance from your mouth! Learn something sweety!

  • @devajeaco07 I was not not referring to you but to her actions as 'foolishness'. I will not go back and forth with you. As Personal attacks are for those without the ability to debate.

  • I think ur right the media has frequently made fun of Beyonce's image with her being a willing participant, Some people really don't get it, I don't care who u r, my mom taught me not to let anybody make fun of me to my face or belittle you. Her husband wasn't thing either, b/c if I was Jay I would have told them to recall the damn shoot. Her mom wasn't thinking, she should have told them to paint all of beyonces body if they wanted to do a tribute. Pay attention, don't let people play you damn.

  • @CarpenterBabe Well said. Our celebrities are not worth our support. They have become so comfortable in their wealth, they have forgotten the challenges that face the everyday black person, they are not conscious to our issues anymore. What happened to KRSOne? Hip Hop is owned by white america, seems like we don't count anymore.

  • @Nenendude This chicken george shit is exactly why I haven't bought an album in years. Why the hell am I suppose to support this kind of buffoonery. They get mad and like to say blacks don't support each other, but the truth is I'm not about supporting a bunch of hot mess. No one in their RIGHT mind black or white thinks that bs is cute, and I don't find it funny. Some one really needs to tell them to wake the hell up and be realistic. It's typical the media is putting it all on her.

  • @Nenendude The medias talking about how could beyonce do that. Ok well, I haven't heard any journalists talking about, o how could the magazine do that. The l'officiel people knew better too, but they want to scrutinize beyonce like it was her idea, she's not smart enough for that to have been her idea. I know that they're going to take the opportunity to dog her out, she better damn learn something, stop cheezing and thinking everyones her friend just because she's pretty. I'm through now lol

  • @Nenendude On that note: when you say Hip Hop is OWNED by white america, I HAVE to totally agree with you there. It brings me to something I've been kind of obsessing over the last few days: the whole Illuminati thing. If you can, get ahold of a bootleg documentary called "Damn Shame". It resonates just the same point you made at the end of your comment. A higher "eschelon" of whites definitely own Hip Hop and showbiz. Period. I still am not calling what she did black face, but some disagree.

  • @Nenendude Also, you keep it real here, you're cute and funny! You GOTS ta be a Pisces! I enjoyed your rant! You are a female version of Paul Mooney...He keeps it real too with a bit of comedy...When you "digressed", I cracked up. (Sorry about the double posting above--accident). Also, had Beyonce done her whole body, legs and arms showing, it wouldn't have LOOKED like blackface. I saw it more like she was trying to pay homage to the country who's clothes she was modeling. Lil Wayne:LOST-Illumin

  • beyonce hasnt put out a statement yet explaning her disgraceful act..somebody in the mainstream better call her out on this bullshit

  • @fashizze Right, It made it to CNN, but I doubt if she'll address it. What could she possibly say?

  • @Nenendude Nene u need to shut the fukk up, cause u really don't know whut the fukk u talkin bout. subcribin to essence don't mean u have knowledge that what u have to say is worthwhile. u jes another big mouth know it all bytch on youtube hating on celebrities cause they don't do shyt like yo broke azz do. let celebrities dress how they want and go take a walk and lose some weight. n stop showin you azz on youtube. we done all seen an ashy azz b4 n we don't need to see ur's

  • You praise Diana Ross, but criticize Beyonce and call her a coon??? LOL

  • cant wait to hear what spike lee, al sharpton, michael eric dyson, tavis smiley, paul mooney, all have to say about beyonce

  • @fashizze Yes, we have coons everywhere. I doubt if any of them have the balls to speak on this. Tavis and Paul might go there and maybe Bill Cosby.

  • @Nenendude Another thing ho. aint nothing wrong with a person's parents being there for them. that's what parents are supposed to do u azzhole. u hate celebrities but I bet cho fat azz don't have nothing against burger king. Go fukk yaself and eat a shyt sandwich so u can calm down. hate loudmouth fat bytches

  • but she aint the first .mc hammer was a fuckin black buffoon back in the early 90's with those KFC commercials .fuckin dancin for fried chicken .see how he turned out

  • beyonce should know better .what a stupid bitch. this shit takes black people back to minstrel times .shirley temple, bojangles, stephin fetchit, bullshit.. fuck you beyonce your ass is a disgrace..you have lost my respect

  • lol, I love it! Joan Rivers looks like an alien! Soon they're coming to take her butt back home.

No more step up movies! Yes, I agree they've taken our style and Pooped on it.

  • Its not BLACKFACE that Beyonce is being depicted in. BLACKFACE Menstruls were RACIST artists that made fun of black people. Beyonce is being depicted as a dark skinned black woman. DARK SKIN IS GORGEOUS. She is making a controversial statement. If these artists do not understand their power, why be upset with them? Why scorn them. How about you get out there and you change in the society that which you expect from other black people. RACISM IS SYSTEMATIC. BECOMING CONSCIOUS IS SYSTEMATIC TOO.

  • just curious if uve met either lil wayne or beyonce face to face?the struggles over.get on with ur life.

  • Joan Rivers is nothing but another Zionist faking the funk.

Those Zionist are not a Religious Group they are a Special Interest Group. Once Folks over-stand that then they will never control anything!

  • @BIGBKELtheGOD I hear you, there seems to be another motive with them, but I doubt if white America is as aware of that or not as willing to challenge anything.

  • You are 100% right on this video!

    Roberson was the real deal!

And so were People like Canada Lee who sacrificed everything and showed us all he was not only a great Actor and Showman but a stand up Man who refused to be a Coon before Racist America and McCarthyism destroyed his life!

In fact Roberson and Lee were contemporaries and the White Media was always trying to pit them against one another but they refused because they had too much respect!

  • If you are black, how can it be considered blackface?? I thought the term "blackface" was referring to another race painting their face black depicting and demoralizing black people in a negative way as well as poking fun at the black race. Beyonce is a light skin Black woman who put on dark makeup in a non demoralizing way for a purpose. Black women were known to lighten their skin with bleach to appear lighter and no one says anything about that. Do not feed into this issue more than necessary

  • I loved Diana Ross in "Mahoganey." And Billy Dee Williams "good Gawd almighty!!!" That what was a gorgeous ass Black man right there! I can't believe Lil Wayne said that. Take away the money and he'd be a broke down, tatted up, midget with a bunch of sh%t in his mouth!!! But, sis, it's not only entertainers who feel that way about "dark" skin m/w. I've noticed on utube negative comments regarding ppl of a darker hue.

  • Diana Ross married some white dude so she ain't so pro black.

  • @kizzmac Yes, and so did Maya Angelou. I'm not an advocate for dating outside the race, but Its her choice. I love her music, her movie choices, her essence. Mahogany placed black female beauty on a pedestal, and If Today's young black women saw more images like that in media, there would not be as many overt examples of self hate, like Nikki Minaj and Beyonce.

  • African (black) women who maintain their African aesthetic are shuffled aware from the eyes of the public. What happened to India Irie, btw? Beyonce has been on the trajectory followed by many african women entertainers. This consists of the use of lighter makeup and manipulation of lighting during shoots, lightening of hair, and then the final straw is to place you side by side with white people to show the world how non-black you are. This black face served that purpose that.

  • @OnixIsis Well said. Beyonce has allowed herself to be white washed. With all the money and fame they currently have, if she had a brain/values/principles, she could have spoken out. But her tongue has been purchased at a cheap price. I don't support her in any way, and never will.

  • I enjoyed this vid. U have a new subscriber

  • @HowHooWatt08 Welcome, thanks, Glad to have you.

  • Good Commentary, I will share your vids. Where I cant go you may be able 2,the important thing is the message. Peace & RespectU

  • @TheBlackDragonX1 Thank you, Peace & Respect.

  • I agree with what you say about 'Celebrities' your so right,

  • @MakeUpYourMindGirl1 Thank U.

  • DOGOOD HERE: Once Again, Diana Ross Is Behind The Beautiful Nenendude. Lol. In All Seriousness, Little Wayne Is Lost Mentally With His Culture Because He Has Been Trained To Love Money. He Tried The Education Thing, But He Still Loses Culture Depending On What College He Tried To Attend. Beyonce Is From Texas Like Me Of Course, But I Don't Follow Her Too Much Anymore So I Can't Comment. I Like You Nenendude, Because You Are Speaking Truth. DoGoooood!!

  • It is great to see you mention Mr. Robeson..he has been a great inspiration to me.

Blackface is a sign of ultra-disrespect. Even as a child it hit me hard. The idea of projecting that image to the world made me angry.

Normally, it is my habit NOT to say anything bad about a black person in public. However, this is a "special occasion"...Beyonce is a corporate cocotte.

Lack of self determination, not welfare, & absence of internal motivation is 2 of our biggest enemies. Great vid!

  • @EuphoricImpact "Cocotte". I had to Google that, LOL, I concur. I also try not to attack other blacks in public, I agree with you greatly. I also agree with you on self determination, where there's a will there's a way. Seems like we've lost that. Paul Robeson's voice held so much strength, passion, pain, you know..

  • Sister i didn't even know about this. But on the things about Beyonce it don't surprise me because she sold out long ago. Look what she did to the other girls in the group she was in. She is from Houston and yet won't even go on 97.9 to interview or talk to the people.

  • @theadviseshow I just heard about it myself, I don't think the magazine will be released in the states, so we probably wont hear much about it. I haven't been following her career, but I never thought she'd make such an obviously dumb decision, I agree, she must be sold out.

  • I agree with you both Lil Wayne and Beyonce are coons who will do anything to make money even if their selling out their own black race but most of these teeny boppers will keep worshiping them more than God because their fans are to young to understand fake people like this.

  • beyonce is a coon for the white man..point blank

  • @brooklynbadboy7 Sad but true.

  • I agree...and OMG thank you for also commenting on the Step Up movies "if they step up one more dang time!" lol It's so annoying and you are right they can't dance(or at least its not from the heart) they are just studio dancers.

  • @Alexsh2010 Thank you, LOL.

  • i dont understand why why a darker skin model was used. this was obvious a african goddess pic, which i know all africans aren't dark but if the french wanted a dark skin model why not hire one. this is sending a message to black that coons like tyra banks who are wearing blond wigs and contacts. bey says she creole why not hire a true african.

  • @MySkiesAreBlue24 I agree, If they wanted to tribute an African icon, Fela Kuti, then why not do it properly by using an African model or at least a black dark skinned model. They did the blackface on purpose, and Beyonce didn't catch that,

  • @Nenendude sis tell me about it, u know bey father is a former crackhead and i think thats whats wrong with bey. she a crack baby. anyway i glad to see a sis of your color calling this woman out!

  • I agree with the Beyonce statement 110%!

  • @alexiscentric I loved your vid, totally on point.

  • GREAT INSIGHTFUL VIDEO, SIS! B NEEDS A BIG SHIFT KICK ON THE BOOTY FOR THIS ISH! SHE HAS TO KNOW WHAT BLACKFACE REPRESENT IN OUR CULTURE. ANOTHER SELF-HATE IDENTITY IN OUR MIST. I'M NOT A BIG BEYONCE FAN ANY WAY BUT SHE STILL OUR PEOPLE. JUST SMH! AND LIL WAYNE...NO COMMENT! SOME OF HIS MUSIC IS COOL BUT THIS IS THE SAME DUDE WHO WANTS TO FUCK EVERY CHICK IN THE WORLD. LOL! STAY AWARE! PEACE!

  • @dagreatcapri82 Thank you brother.
