Mike Legg is the STUD :) Just recently Finnish ice hockey player Mikael Granlund did this kind of airhook goal 2011 in the World Cup. In my opinion Granlund did it better because he did not stop, but scored from the move :)

I'm a Ice hockey goalie and I see people pulling this shit all the time during scrimage games trying to be a hot shot. Then again I see them get creamed behind the net when they try to set up for this move...Haw-ha!

it's only ruled a high stick if the part of the stick that touches the puck is above the level of the crossbar. obviously if you have the puck on your stick, it can't go in if it's above the crossbar, so i think it would be a legal goal. correct me if i'm wrong though.

as long as you keep it under the crossbar it counts. I dont think the goalie was expecting. Mike legg was very carefull to keep the puck under the crossbar. But in turth someone should have hit him before he got to take the shot
