You're putting a target on your back by claiming "most" in your title. People don't like that, it implies smug, and in this case unjustified self-satisfaction...
I loved it! This guy is swinging, relaxed, and I think that right hand thing of his is unusual and...working! The kick accent at that point in time is the and of 4. What is the big deal? Nothing wrong with that. Bravo, man. I wish my uptempo brushwork was this smooth.
zardez says, "hmmmmm yeah you kinda just did the same thing for 1:30 and your kick needs work."
This stretch of Salt Peanuts is about the piano player, it's not an appropriate place for a drum solo. He put just enough kicks and stabs in there. What "work" does he need on the kicks?
aurelienpk says, "your index on your right hand shouldnt be on the brush!"
Holding the brush wrong? Are you kidding me? Only his first drum teacher gets to say that.
i know it isn't a drum solo, i'm not saying he should have amazing kick patterns i'm just saying in my opinion he didn't use the kick very well, wether that means using it less or more is your own personal taste.
yeah, made that post over two years ago, kinda feels pointless to comment on it now, still surprised at how amazing he is with his hands and how poorly he uses the kick
Nice job!

I would much rather see the piano player. Standard brush work here.
