@banddude121 I'm 6 ft 4in. 300 lbs. I pack a 44mag and can and have fired it with one hand, but for zombies I would go with my 10/22 and two 50 cal. cans full of ammo. That's 12,000 rds. and about 90 lbs. A little on the heavy side but I'm a big dude and can do so. Plus if your shooting hundreds of zombies that weight would go down fast. Go for a light gun with a high rate of fire, large mags, pack as much ammo as you can and head for the hills.
Zombies have already come here to southern California. I work as a patrol officer and carry my SS Springfield Champion custom 45. The other four guns i like are: 12 guage shotgun, 22 rifle, 30 cal assault rifle and a S&W 629.

.223 wont do much against raging zombies unless you hit em in the head. buckshot and .308 should come in handy for removing some limbs in case you miss.

A lot of people are talking about carrying two long guns, but isn't that going to effect mobility. In my opinion, one long gun (either shotgun or rifle) and one side arm and a knife. A lot of people are talking about carrying two long guns, but isn't that going to effect mobility. In my opinion, one long gun (either shotgun or rifle) and one side arm and a knife. Then a vest to put mags and shells on and a heavy duty backpack for medkit, clothes, water, flashlight, matches, blanket, and some canned food. Maybe I'm thinking too far into this whole thing though lol
