If the water is hazy white or hazy green it sounds like infusoria or green water. Those blooms can be difficult to get rid of. I usually use two hoses. One that fills the aquarium and one that empties it at the same time. Then I let the water change go on until the water is crystal clear with the filters turned on. If the water is just a little haze the day after I do the same thing again.
The gravel is inert black sand with kitty litter underneath. The kitty litter is evenly spread out and only so much so you couldn't see the glass floor.
Thanks! A newer picture can be found here: defblog(dot)se(slash)permalink(slash)1805(dot)html
It's a 60-litres tank with CO2-injection and about 5 ppm NO3, 0,5 ppm PO4 and 0,1 ppm Fe added via PMDD each week. If it's full of plants it usually eats about double that.
The lighting is 2x24 watts HO T5 Philips Aquarelle with good reflectors, "Aquamedic Sunbeam"-fixture.
thanks a lot man!!i think that it will help

how do u keep the water clean??

The trick with planted tanks is to make the water dirty to make the plants happy, then the algae disappears (despite the nutrient filled water).
