I loved this era of music! It was so creative and exciting, especially the Minneapolis thing that was happening in the mid to late 80's. It almost seemed like american rock music took over around this time, and shortly thereafter, the Seattle thing took off like crazy. I'm not exactly sure where Das Damen are from (maybe they are british, he he), but Moustrap to me, was a great alternative album and my cassette is worn out!
"Bleach was the news, heard it on l.p., my lunatic friend was into it before it hit...we heard it in the military. it just got worse and worse after that..."
i miss das damen...fabulous band and to this day i still enjoy them as much as the first time i heard them...the bulk of the post-nirvana crap pales in comparrison
This band was awesome. saw them in pensacola, Fl. well ahead of the Grunge curve. they deserve so much more respect. it will be 20 years this year and i can still appreciate this song.
