  • Umm ppl thats why a sweater was invented !!!

  • She's hot.

  • Wear Snuggie, be a Jedi, make yourself a fool!!

  • THe Cons can't, and never will do good satire.

  • There's now a clear Snuggie for nudists!

  • Why is obama bailing out government motors when we could have snuggie's?

  • Good job converting it to evening wear. Can you say toga?

  • if she were only my Snuggie....

  • I want a bailout snuggie.

  • If Mary Katherine Ham were a Snuggie I'd fall asleep inside her every night.

  • Don't get your Snuggie dirty. Consumer Reports tested it, and after 10 washes, it had holes in it and small pills all over.

Also, it's super thin and not even warm.

  • why would you even get it?

  • Now I want a Snuggie.

  • MKH is the sweetest thing in Washington right now!!! We love ya, MK. Keep the new vids coming...

  • This is the Abramoff K Street Snuggie, the Snuggie that keeps on giving. It makes good prison garb for the many corrupt Cheney/Bush felons. Latest inductee: Dusty Foggo - W's number three CIA man.

  • Obama Snuggie video on youtube! Yeah baby!

  • Way to use logical fallacies. Oh I do remember criticizing Bush too.

  • How about Reagan you turd? Neither Bush nor Reagan had a depression to excuse their giant deficits. And neither of them INHERITED trillion dollar deficits from their predecessors.

  • What Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, or anyone else did is irrelevant. That is the logical mistake you are making. What correctness of others do or have done is irrelevant to the correctness of what you are doing.

Let me put it in plain terms. If I and my seven brothers commit murder, then it is still a crime if you commit murder.

To answer your question, I am 27, so I wasn't aware of Regan's policies when he was in office, but looking back I do criticize him.

  • I think you missed the part that they didn't have a depression to excuse their deficits. Reagan didn't inherit a trillion dollar deficit, now Bush sr did inherit a astronomical deficit but it was caused by the policies he himself supported while he was VP so no excuses there, Bush jr inherited big surpluses and squandered them all. Obama inherited Bush jr's mess.

  • You think incorrectly.

Additionally, recession is no excuse for stupidity.

  • @Ragnok

"Additionally, recession is no excuse for stupidity."

Indeed it isn't so use your goddamn brain for once.

A recession/ a near recession causes revenues to fall (GDP contracts) and extra spending in the form of more people going on welfare and such. As evident by the fact that even without doing anything Obama is already inheriting trillion dollar deficits from Bush (2008 deficit).

  • Was that an argument for the the "stimulus"?

  • Nope that was an argument for the current deficits. It's partly that and partly new programs of course.

But yeah the current economic conditions demand government intervention/spending which deepens the deficit. These things were not true for Reagan or Bush.

  • jpbalkenende, "current economic conditions demand government intervention/spending." No, it most certainly does not.

  • @batwals

FDR annual inflation adjusted growth 1933-1941: 7.4% (stimulus)

    1941-1945: 10.2% (massive spending/stimulus).

    For reference: Reagan: 3.2%

  • @jpbalkenende: Congratulations, you completely missed my point. My statement still stands, and it would speak for itself if you knew anything about the founding of the United States. P.S. Based on the Carl Sagan "quote" on your channel page, I can only assume you are some kind of troll?

  • You are an arrogant SOB, I must admit.

Your statement was literally "No, it does not" there isn't any POINT in there. If you DO wish to make a point then do so you smug prick.

  • jpbalkenende, why the hell do I have to explain this? You said, "economic conditions demand government intervention/spending (...)" Our government has no such right. If a company fails or companies fail, they fail. Period. Government intervention and regulation got us into this mess to begin with -- recently, Bush, Reagan, now Obama, and, oh, for f-'s sake, certainly our "historical" FDR.

  • @bat

Then SAY the government has no such right, what you insinuated in your post was that current conditions do not demand such actions, as in economic theory.

Btw read the taxing and spending clause, you think you know it all but you don't.

  • @ALL OF YOU

...This is a parody of the bailout. About Snuggies. Seriously, chill.

  • Right wing nutters didn't criticize Reagan and Bush for creating the endless pit of a national debt we have today. They only care when Dems do it and spend the money on domestic programs instead of building tanks and funding pointless wars.

  • haha I agree - It was okay when Bush pissed away money on an illegal war, and a failed stimulus. That was fine. How quickly the "conservatives" forgot.

I guess "conservative" has a new definition.

  • I hate the Snuggie.

  • Good one!

  • haha we did a parody to the snuggie too, everyone check it out on my page and let me know what you think!

  • not really that funny

  • They should make one that looks like a pig.

  • That was hilarious!!!

  • hahahaha, Fantastic!

  • Looks toasty n warm. Too expensive, unless it's going to be part of my porkulus check

  • Glad you are back Mary K. It gets hard to keep track of where you are blogging these days. To make this more edgy you could point out that the snuggie can double as a burkha.

  • Comment removed

  • I think that when it talks about $20 billion, it should increase instead of go down to $4 billion. It would add to the tragic irony.

  • Cute video!!

  • gahahahahahah

  • HA! HA! HA! -- LIBERALS! ! !

  • Hey MKH-once you get your share of the stimulus, can I hit you up for a bail out? I'm SURE my great-grandkids will be good for it. :)

  • You look incredibly hot in that snuggie

  • Mary Catherine, yet another humorous, hard hittng home run. i am a fan.

  • had no idea i was so hurtful this is heart breaking and i tried my very best to be nice but obviously i just feel like a big joke and just giving up is so heart breaking i just wanna sitll give peace

  • wow... the Snuggie is almost as lame as the Stimulus... at least the Snuggie keeps you warm...

  • That girl is pretty hot.

  • Are you kidding me? The Snuggie won't stimulate the economy. That's just wasteful spending. We need a stimulus that's focused on Slap Chops and ShamWows.

  • NOW THATS THE CHANGE WE NEED LOL!

  • Obama's SCARE TACTICS won't work to convince us that this "Stimulus Package" is nothing more than a waste of taxpayers money!

If the banks refuse to loan then screw them! Why is it that I just got a car loan from my local bank but the international banks like Bank of America and Citigroup refuse to loan money?

Is it that these banks have ruined themselves and are now holding us taxpayers hostage demanding us to bail them out for their own stupidity?

    Fuck THEM! Close your accounts!,

  • Well said, but I dont think Citi or Bof A will have sleepless night not loaning funds for a car.

  • Great video! Good analogies, too.

  • hahaha....well done.

  • What does the sign say when she's begging for a bailout? I see "will fail" but I can't read the bottom line.

  • I think it says "will fail 4 tax dollars"

    Ha!

  • I can see Ted Kennedy wearing his snuggie backwards while he drunkenly chases his illegal alien maid around the compound.

  • MKH is the best!

  • Love the Hammer!

    Miss "The Week in Peeps."

  • The Hammer is a godsend!

  • So funny! Loved it!
