Your cover is one of the best, if not, THE best cover that I've seen. Aside from Brittany Nicole, hers was amazing as well. But, I really think that you should have won! Yes you should have won. I suppose they were looking for a younger amateur closer to the age of their fan base. But after listening to so many different versions of this song, including the one by the Jonas Brothers themselves, I have to say that yours is by far the best. Violin is amazing! I wish I started on it sooner...i just got my violin a couple months ago and can barely get by on it now. I originally learned guitar just by learning songs I liked. I would look the chords and tabs up online...I think it's the most effective way as long as you truly want to learn. I got a guitar teacher through college and pretty much stopped practicing during that period lol...it started to feel like a job...i only like playing what I want to play :-/

it's never too late to start! I didn't start guitar until I was 16, then i kept getting bored and moving to other instruments...once you know 1 fretted instrument the others come a lot easier!
