  • I used to love this as a kid. I thought my parents and I were the only ones who remembered it.

  • One Time at Walmart, I saw a Plate that said "LV42DAY", A Plate that belonged to James Dean. The Moment i saw that Plate, i thought of Bumper Stumpers.

  • Looks like a dead ringer for Marc Summers

  • I disagree. The host looks more like Robert Palmer.

  • One of my all-time favorite lesser-known game shows. I keep hoping it will be brought back in some form some day...I think I'd be a great contestant on it. I love word games.

  • I think those two guys on the right are gay.

  • @tor934 - You 'think'? The guy on the left's initials are L.G-B.T., and the guy on the right's middle name is 'Rainbow'.

  • The first game show produced by Jack Barry Dan Enright in the post Joker's Wild era which is my favorite.

  • Thanks for posting this churlyryan. Two of my teachers teamed up to be on this show their names were Karen & Angela. I would love to see clips of Just Like Mom on youtube.

  • I used to watch this show a lot!

  • Ken Ryan was the voice of Bulletproof on the cartoon series "COPS." (Central Organization of Police Specialists) Fighting crime in a future time. Cops and crooks each sold separately with caps.

  • He was also the announcer in the 1987 Schwarzenegger film, The Running Man.

  • Al Dubois was a presemter on The Weather Channel

  • He also did weather for CFCF-TV in Montreal at one point.

  • He was also a presenter on The Weather Network in Canada.

  • Actually... he was never on The Weather Channel in the states. Bumper Stumpers was a Canadian gameshow, it merely aired in the states.

  • I remember that Bumper Stumpers was on every weekday afternoon at 4:00pm. Find out if you can bring it back to GSN.

  • "ILVDISSHO"

  • LOL. Al Dubois was such a stiff.

  • I liked Al OK, but he seemed a bit too mechanical w/his pet phrases ("The object is to solve the Super Stumper...", "You're not out until you lose 2", "If they don't get it, we'll be coming to you, so stand by just in case").

  • According to Wikipedia, a guy named Ed Lojeski composed that theme. I remember Bumper Stumpers quite well. Here's a plate that belongs to a detective: "NNNN6." Do you know what it says?

  • Forensics!

  • Correct! Four N's, followed by a 6. Four N's-6. Forensics.

  • Do you happen to have the credits to Bumper Stumpers. A very awesome theme, in my opinion.

  • Unfortunatly I do not. Infact, this came from the very, very end of a video tape I possess (its also the tape I got my Play the Percentages & Love me, Love me Not videos from) and I only have about 5 minutes worth of this episode.
