I attended a bagpipe show back in the spring and as they were walking out of the fort we were in, I tried to walk about twenty feet behind them without walking in step as they were playing. It was damn near impossible.

i know for a fact that according to my grandfather, during WW2 german troops were scared in there boots when they heard the scottish bagpipes coming into battle ' scott troops were nicknamed by them, "the dogs from hell"
