  • I'm 12 and I like old music more and most of my friends like stupid popular music like kesha, lady gaga, etc and i like Marian Carey I like 90s for the most part

  • @ThatGirlNamedCici haha yea girl!! im a 12 yr old girl too lol do u like megadeth? (my fav!!)

  • @carlyluvszeepugs i dont know who megadeth sorry but im sure their music is great too

  • @ThatGirlNamedCici lol that's ok :3

who do you listen to then? btw i uploaded some of their songs on my channel:P

  • @carlyluvszeepugs mariah carey,michael jackson,whiteney houston,old usher songs and theres more

  • @ThatGirlNamedCici ohh i thot u were a metal chick lol likke mehh

  • Music today has been reduced to a medium used to sell how cool you are to the corperate raised youth. You need to look cool and have an engineer as your 'band'. If you can't sing then you use auto-tune. That's it, music and talent are dead, check mate :(

  • I agree with you 100 percent I'm 15 and I am quite old fashioned in my music tastes the same stuff you like bob pink floyd led zeppelin and I am one of those pounding the pavement my band is called moderation were on facebook as Moderation (brogue band) we as a musicians have worked for years at our music and I absolutely hate most of what passes as popular music most have very little talent other than talking fast and beating a trash can lid I don't think its right what music has become

  • @jakesturgell Look up UFO, The Grateful Dead, Rainbow, Venom, Rush, Death, Bathory, Annihilator, Nuclear Assault, Municipal Waste, Tool, Electric Wizard, Celtic Frost, Triptykon, and Alcest.

  • @Partycheif67 same here! Except I buy Nirvana singles.

  • DAMN STRAIGHT! love the vid :D

  • The Beatles arent pop bro..

  • @GuitarBeast129 In many ways, they were. The Beatles' influences were Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, and Elvis. All of them were "Popular".

  • @Evan42881 Makes sense, but compared to the shit they call "pop" today, they were rock and rol. one of the best rock and roll there ever was, too.

  • that is SO darn true.. one of my favorite bands only had 1 album before they broke up.. and that is ''Ride the Sky''.. totally AMAZING band that didn't get thru because they didn't got a chance..

    sry the bad English

  • he's a illumanati puppet like most of them the industry is run by the NWO Megadeth is a anomaly in this sys just play what your style is thats why I respect AC/DC they are who they are and the Walmart thing was kinna lame but they"W-Mart" ran all the music stores out of business then cut there shelf space to nothing but a few feet of CD's i know it's all stole'n or downloaded off i-tunes so why do you think the industry make Bieber's Gaga's Spears... why all that money? And no $ales; they r NWO

  • I understand what you are saying. He really did just get his sucess handed to him from being discovered on youtube. But i think he is a hardworking kid and has some talent. His popularity may be annoying as well as the music industry and companies plastering his face on merchandise. Of course I wouldn't say he is the best musician in the world but he definitely does work.

  • You're amazing, man.

  • Bobby ur one hell of a great guy! U respect other music and ur goddamn well at playing the guitar.. I have to say that we need more people like you in this world ;)

  • ik this has nothing to do with anything rally but are you reading from a telaprompter you keep looking to the side

  • Sorry but the industry is and always has been just that...an industry. Musicians trying to live out their adolescent fantasies of being relavent in the world grow up to be disillusioned only because they didn't realize it was all a sham in the first place. Stop trying to "make it" and just play for the love of playing and that's all you should have ever hoped for. Otherwise make marketable pop music and sell out before you even get an advance.

  • BOBBBY ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

  • The doors

  • is someone standing behind the camera holding a gun, telling you what to say?

    but good video

  • @Question150 No, he's like camera shy or something

  • @Question150 Just the way he is, man. Apparently you've never seen any other Bobby Crispy vids. I started playing guitar 3 years, within the first couple months of my playing I was watching Bobby's lessons. He's a very smart and helpful dude which is why 3 years later I still watch his lessons and videos.

  • ALL genres suck these days. country sucks big time these days. go listen to george jones (REAL COUNTRY) then listen to carrie underwood (FAKE COUNTRY). its 2 different genres. now go listen to slipknot (FAKE METAL) then go listen to judas priest (REAL METAL). 99% of music sucks these days and garage bands with talent wont be known because of robot auto tune bitches that wouldnt use creativity to save their lives

  • @THEFLYINGREDNECK Aye, heavy metal was horrible a few years ago but now it's finally taking a turn in the right direction. I suggest you listen to Skyharbor and Periphery and see if that doesn't change your mind about modern metal. :)

  • Bob, I agree and appreciate your work

  • You didn't mention about Michael Jackson. He worked his ass off too. But you gotta understand even Justin Bieber also worked his ass off to get good at singing and dancing and performing. Maybe he didn't have to go through some of the shit a lot of other musicians had/have to do to survive and make it into the music biz. Bieber is an entertainer, and he just had what the marketers needed. He was lucky too. But you can't say their success is COMPLETELY handed down to them. Music isn't about

  • @riceboy287 toppling over each other to get into the music business. It's about giving everyone a piece of you and sharing and supporting each other to be as successful as they can be. And when you see another musician make it be proud that she/he had something the business needed. A lot of people who aren't successful today is because they don't have what the industry needs or aren't putting themselves out in right places. We all work hard. I do too. It's a pain in the ass. But at least these

  • @riceboy287 musicians/entertainers/artists are making the BEST of their talents. And not being envious of others who make more or get more out of their blood/sweat/tears. But I have to agree the music industry is being too selfish because I hear a lot of amazing music that is being overshadowed by them. Never blame the musicians, the audience, or the industry. Because in the end all of them are flawed one way or another. Thank you btw for lessons, makes life a lot easier. be glad you can help.

  • @riceboy287 I would have to say not technically needed. But very profitable, yes. Music industry is, well an industry. It gets money for music and the people who make it. Besides, everything he said in the video you just elaborated in highten detail.

    Cheers, bro.

  • It's about time someone made a video about this stuff saying more than just "Justin Bieber sucks". Finally, someone explained the situation with rational, educated facts. Also, nice shout out to Anvil! \m/

  • It looks like you are on heroine, your eyes are just really glassy

  • michael jackson did it better and he was gooood

  • damn right man his music shouldnt be called music IT HAS NO FUCKING MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

  • WE LOVE YOU BOBBY

  • I miss the 90's! When music had angst, passion and an F-U attitude! Bring back alternative music and grunge!

  • Anvil rocks

  • that's no fucking shit!!!! justin is fake and gay(just like jesus)

  • i <3 the biebs :)))) <3333 hes sooooo talented and real!

  • @Account4TheMusic

    Fuck you Cannibal Troll

  • @Jlemay117 fuck you nigglet, LOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • @Account4TheMusic

You do realize what a cannibal troll is right. Its a troll that makes himself or herself look like an asshole so other people troll them. But all the while your the one trolling them. because only you are aware of it. well I am.

  • @Jlemay117 lol okay i guess im a "cannibal troll" i swear to god ill suck your fucking dick if you dont shut the fuck up bro

  • @Account4TheMusic He doesnt have talent. are u 12? u obviously dont know what REAL music is and represents. what kinda meaning and hard work do you see in justin beavers music?

  • @cookiesrgood4thesoul dont worry about it

  • @Account4TheMusic fuck u

  • so true

  • IF YOU'RE IN IT TO MAKE MONEY THESE DAYS..............YOU WILL FAIL.

IT'S BETTER TO JUST HAVE FUN LIKE THE PUNK ROCK GUYS USED TO.

PARTY, PLAY MUSIC AT KEG OR BACKYARD PARTIES AND HAVE FUN.

THAT'S WHAT IT'S ABOUT. IF YOU WANT TO KICK SOME ASS ON THE SIDE AND BE A THUG THEN YOU CAN DO THAT TOO.

PUNK BANDS LIKE TSOL AND OTHERS DID THAT. LOFL

    bye

  • I think the music industry is just catering to the young tween and teenage girls with Justin Bieber. It's a big market (as seen in the movie industry with Twilight) and they make up about 99% of his sales. I don't think Justin Bieber has mass appeal, he wouldn't get anywhere if wasn't for the young fan girls.

  • Absofcukinglutely true...

  • when was the last time you saw a jutin bieber tab??? i have'nt cos it sucks

  • my first comment would have to be, it's insulting that any of this shite, pardon me, justin bieber, britany speared and a big long list of others are even honoured with the title "music", music is were people learn to play instruments and write notation and that sort of thing, i think it's insulting to even call it music. my next one is, is this where all the copyright cobblers comes from? surely it would awesome if people want to replicate your music play for themselves etc. it means its good

  • you know its odd i have never listened to justin bieber and i never will because i ignore things i dislike its that simple but yeah i can understand why people hate him i just know i wont like his music so i don't listen... if that makes sense

  • Totally agreed...NO ONE IN THE WORLD is "born to sing" or whatever, everyones born to live...and it looks like this lucky guy Justin got recorded by some people and became famous!? without needing to do anything

  • The only reason Justin Bieber is famous is because Scooter whatever the fuck his last name is knew he would be able to market Justin Bieber and make millions. I wonder how many 12 year old girls I just offended.

  • So true!!!! i agree with everything he said

  • @BobbyCrispy I totally agree with what u said in this video, i have nothing personal against Bieber But i think more talented people should have been given the chance he got, when he didnt even try...Thumbs up for BobbyCrispy!!!

  • "this isnt a why justin beiber sucks video" yet the title is Justin Bieber and the Music Industry ( WHY IT SUCKS! )

  • @happihacker that's referring to the music industry, saying the industry sucks

  • @happihacker r u dumb?

  • is it the music industry or the people? the industry is just trying to make money, the fans are the ones who buy into this shit

  • @AquaFoxproducts is the band like the police or blue oyster cult or is it like THE BEATLES OR LYNYRD SKYNYRD! theres "pretty good" and theres AMAZING!

  • @AquaFoxproducts "pretty good" on guitar wont cut it dude. do you wanna be in a "pretty good" band like blue oyster cult or an AMAZING band like pink floyd?

  • damn man I love your tone its like so passive

    no homo

  • @AquaFoxproducts no, you just sucks at guitar.

  • oh and this video reminds me of people who clam benefits and are capable of work, i know some people need them due to injures and so on but people who are able to work that sit doing nothing but put their feet up while we work are socks of what is this world coming to first talent less pop stars and non working suns of bitches wow

  • baby face ahahha good one man...

rock is better than modern crap keep doing what your doing and you'll go far

my guitar playing is all your doing thanks once again

  • @AquaFoxproducts what is the second word...?

  • @AquaFoxproducts cause you say i have to learn enlgish beacuse i spell 1 word wrong...

  • @AquaFoxproducts you should just be honered that he replied to you.

  • @AquaFoxproducts if you think bobby is shit, why do you even take your time to comment and watch his vids?

  • @AquaFoxproducts Why dont you just go watch your justin bieber u little fag

  • @AquaFoxproducts ...yeh well maybe you're a shit student!

  • @BobbyCrispy hahahahahah u crack me up man i love u

  • I liked how you mentioned the record industry only looks at what is marketable. What a true point. I went to a songwriter's workshop recently where industry pro's critiqued our stuff. Well, my music is really different and I try to be innovative and all they said was it was cool but it would only be for a 'niche market'. It sucks because as far as I know, back in the old days, innovative music was what the industry was all about.

  • @0ladystardust that is'nt exactly true is it, the record industry looks at what they THINK is marketable cos really it comes down to people like simon cowell, louis walsh and david geffen types who could'nt give a flying fuck about anything apart from how much money is in it and who can we exploit until we've bleed them dry and sucked out their souls. music should not have it's basis in money, music should be free, money is a bi-product of success and true success comes from skill and talent.

  • I don't think I could be more sure to say that pop is slowly just turning into a catchy beat with someone talking to auto tune. But what I can only say is an opinion is that as long as that crap is catchy, it'll sell. Now all you have to do is right about love and have auto tune. My chemical romance, green day, the clash, kiss, beastie boys, beach boys, "But hole" surfers, well they're not half as popular any more. Not to mention black flag, or the sex pistols, or even the Beatles! Sadly Justin

  • yer good points in this video not just 'hes gay'

  • I've watched that Anvil DVD, and think they're a great band. I will never understand how they didn't go anywhere.

  • @TravObrien they actually were pretty popular in the early 80s but because of bad management and what not they went into obscurity but a lot of the 80s bands recognize them as big influences since they started a lot of things first.

  • amen

  • no one get's anything handed to them. the biggest problem is that we only get to see popular bands ie ones on vevo, music tv channels, radio and everywhere else because somehow organisations have become so big in 'marketing' the bands that it is only a few people that decide what the masses are going to listen to - it's innefficient. it's called the artist and repetoire department of record labels. im creating a site where you listen and vote up on what becomes popular music.

  • In the music industry now, they jus find someone who sounds alright, sounds like the rest of the music that "sells", good-looking, they stick them in with the biggest producer and popular musicians and they are big for about three months, then someone else comes in. (watch "nevershoutnever interview bryon starz" --his opinion on the music industry and i agree. Bieber still has some talent, but there are so many others tht go unrecognized because of the music industry's lack of artistry.

  • I agree Bob. I have a set of 14 year old twin daughters that I buy a Metallica album for every time they mention Justin Beeber... What you said in this vid describes the cancer of the music industry, no doubt.

  • @Partychief67 bless you

  • For me, the music industry sucks since 2005. Why? It's because of Gwen Stefani and what would I call the first 'shitty' song I ever heard in my life: Hollaback Girl. Now, thanks to that song, many artists are making 'shitty' music as well!

  • @InvaderZimus I ran out of room of the last comment.

I have nothing against Megadeth. And I heard of those bands you mentioned

  • @InvaderZimus

sorry but I'm a true Metallica fan and Metallica was the first Metal I listened to.

I'm not one of those people that say "oh the new metallica sucks, I miss the old metallica."

Usually I'd hear a Megadeth fan say something like that....^^^^

I'm getting pretty tired of that. There is no new or old metallica, there is just metallica.

No way in hell they are mainstream.

Last time I checked, they were formed in the 80's. Mainstream is the New Music of today.

    I have nothing aga

  • I will forever rebel against the mainstream music.

    I hate today's music.

But believe it or not, there's is a some good bands of today like Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Slipknot, and a few others I can't remember. But that's it.

But there's still old bands to this day like Metallica for example.

I try to believe that I'm still in the 90s.

(I was born in the 90s)

So I'm going to walk around with my Metallica T shirts.

    Who's with me? Lol

Metallica was the first Metal music I heard.

    I have

  • @Soldier1287 same here but really metallica is mainstream at this point. im sorry to burst your bubble i was in this stage too but they really arent rebellious anymore. everyone likes them. listen to megadeth, then ur really fucking the system. oh better yet, listen to system of a down. theyre fucking amazing. avenged sevenfold worshipped a band called Pantera, listen to them they fucking rule. if you like slipknot try slayer. i hope i introduced some awesome bands to u

  • Justin bieber is a tool, a product, a representative of the industry...and not the music industry but rather the entertainment industry. And so when i say i "hate" just bieber, i dont just mean the imbecilic boy...im referring to all he represents and that represents him.

  • booby crispy your badass.. this video is so true.. you have all my respect.. i love your guitar lesson because the have really helped me alot.. i mean im just a beginner but they really helped ^^

  • i listen to a variety of music and artist, from Eminem(Rap) to Pendulum(DnB) to crossfade(rock) and basically anything except most country and that scene fad. but i agree Beiber seemed to be handed the spotlight while a guy like Eminem was poor, had to go underground and eventually made it big but was criticize for his some of his songs, yet he comes back everytime. bieber will eventually fade out, since its pop music

  • Mainstream sucks. Bottomline. Not just justin bieber, every single fuckin' thing you hear on the radio today. And yes i really hate the fact that metal has died too, overrun by mallcore pussies who should NEVER be doing metal in a million years. Music is dead as we know it today. I cut off any interaction whatsoever with the radio, and play my CDs which I love from the past.

  • I think the big thing that needs to be argued is that there should be a distinction in music between artistry and entertainment. Justin Bieber does serve as an entertainer for many (somehow), but there is no objective element of his music that makes it "artistic." To call him and similar pop singers "artists" as so many do would be similar to calling some shitty drawing I make on paper in 30 seconds that makes someone laugh art merely because it serves to entertain another for a brief time.

  • you tell 'em bobby!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No wonder why I get sick to my stomach when I listen to music on the radio these days. When you mix corporate marketing with creative artistry, you get a generic commercial disaster called "today's industry."

  • Like other acts of his ilk, Justin's time will end. But even so, it won't matter all that much, 'cause he'll just be replaced with the next horse-feathers act and more bad music will come. What really needs to happen is the death of this trend/conspiracy of poor music acts constantly being unleashed and forced on not only those who detest it, but the rest of the world (those who like it). As well as payback for whoever came up with the dim idea of using them in the first place.

  • @Ryudragon12

    You don't wanna know

  • (part v) Also, not all music is meant to be in the mainstream. I play classical violin in an orchestra. We have a relatively small but dedicated following. I know classical music won't be as popular as pop any time soon, and I'm fine with that. I think even if it did, something would come along to muck it up.

And before you say I'm just caught up in today's music... I should mention, some of my favourite bands are Queen, The Beatles, ELO, etc. Anyways, sorry about the length. Just my two cents

  • (part iv) The fact is, there's always going to be artists so mainstream that anyone other than that will dislike them. But a person shouldn't say an artist is untalented because they are different from their tastes. I don't care much for say... Linkin' Park....but I still think they are talented. Would you want everyone in the industry to be just like you? I sure wouldn't want everyone to be just like me lol.

    (one more part...)

  • ...(part iii) Also, not all music needs to deliver some message. I don't understand why so many baby boomer and gen Xers are caught up in that. If a song has a profound message, great. If not, that's fine too, as long as the music is good. Even Kurt Cobain believed music itself came first.

Remember that most musicians try to put on a show in addition to making music. People tried sticking to the essentials in the 90s and it was called grunge; it was overrated (sorry but i think it's true)

  • (part ii) "not talented" because he clearly has a great degree of natural talent. Talent needs to be developed. Plus most of the struggling musicians you're comparing him to are much older than he is and have more formal training. For being self taught, I think he's quite good.

I'm not feeling your argument that music should be about "paying your dues". To me, music is about making music. Some musicians have to pay their dues, some don't. That could be said for any field (part III...)

  • Hey Crispy!

I think you're really cool but I just had to share my opinion: I think the whole "getting discovered on the internet" thing is great because not everyone lives in L.A. or N.Y., knows who to call to get a demo in the right hands, or has the resources to put on a good live show. I think it's helped break down a lot of barriers, and I hope more people get 'discovered' because of it.

I can't help but wonder what goes through the minds of people who say that JB is (more to come)

  • dude your fucking awesome, but you creep me the fuck out.

  • It seems like music has gotten worse. Now we got Rebecca Black. She is horrible beyond repair.

  • who is justin biber?

  • @ryudragon12 Don't try to find out who he is. It's for the better because you're still pure from not knowing who he is.

  • @KamakazeBanzai wait isnt he that guy that always sing the same song?

dam that guy is only on music industry only for money this generations only look at the video and image not for the talent

  • It's not Justin Bieber I hate (Though I do a little), it's the whole music industry today. It's made for commercial use, not with the intention of producing good music, but with the intention of making millions of dollars and be on the front cover of every magazine. Music is dead, if you ask me, it died when soundgarden broke up, or maybe when Layne Staley died. And now I'm stuck with a bunch of brainwashed teens, and I feel like I'm the only teen out there who listens to good music.

  • i think this is why everyone hates justin beaver he sucks yet somehow the music industry takes him in

  • Everyone should check out Matt Walters, he is a great new Aussie musician and his album Farewell Youth is fantastic.

  • Very well put...

  • All the groups and "singers" like justin beiber have no talent and are simply fueled by money, looks, and popularity. I'm no big MJ fan but i still got very pissed when they said that jb was the new MJ. Justin is an auto tuned peice of shit who is ruining it for truely talented singers and groups. Classic rock FTW

  • Watch “Bieberbread Man” by Zachary Zortman.

  • Just sayin here, but not all of today's music sucks. I mean Foster the people released a song called pumped up kicks which is very catchy and good. Indie is still pretty good with bands like Modest Mouse, Built to spill, Death cab for cutie, wolf parade, and etc. Alternative still is pretty good. Rock is making a turn for the worse, but is still better than most of today's crap.

  • @Happymealify rock is getting better heavier, louder, faster, even the slow rock is heavy

  • @BLOODYMOON62 Heavy isnt always a good thing. I prefer on the heavier side of the spectrum, but there always needs to be a balance. It is like the food pyramid. You cant go all your life eatin potatoe chips.

  • @Happymealify i agree i love soft melodic,i range from green day, papa roach, wintersun to cradle of filth, dimmu borgir, chimara as well as softer and harder im just letting other dude know rock isnt going to shit in my opion

  • it's a sad thing. i totally agree with him.

  • Justin Beiber isn't exactly the biggest thing in the music industry today. Seriously. The thing is, he has outspoken fans, but you can't really consider that the majority. How many people over 20 listen to his music?

Also, stop saying that the music then was better than the music now. All we hear as old music now was the ones that were the best of that generation. The ones we hear now are unfiltered.

    Just saying.

  • thanks bobby for telling us about the movie. it is very emotional. thanks

  • This is truth and you're so right Bobby. The mainstream music industry needs to go down!

  • a lot of people say that eminem is gay because they hate rap but he had to go through a lot before he was famous

  • You are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo right that Im gonna hit the subscribe button one more time!!!!

  • You're definitely right Bob. definitely right !!!

  • I totally agree with you.

  • Look, i dont like the kid either. But seriously, it isn't all his fault man, his guitar playing is reasonable. And what would you do if some major record company asked you if you wanted to make millions of dollars? He probably played crappy bars as well. I hate his music, but saying he's talentless is just bullcrap, and as a guitar player, you should know.

  • @TheSwampstuff Dat is correct :)

  • rockstars in the 70s were the ugliest people to walk the face of the earth, but what did they have? SKILL

  • Pierce Cruz Monster hit: SEE MUSIC @/watch?v=SEhm3WW67oE

  • That is absolutely true,Bobby...these people tour and tour and tour nad in the ned they get nothing. Teens like Justin Bieber make it big. I bet he won't sound like James Hetfield in two years' time. When James was 20, he wrote Seek and Destroy.Justin is still stuck on Baby.

  • Ok here's something I don't get. I agree that mainstream music and radio sucks. But that's just my opinion. I hate rap and any kind of hip hop. But what I don't get is if this music sucks, how are the artists still creating songs and making money off of albums. If the music sucks, why are millions of people attending the concerts of these people creating the shitty music. I mean, any fan of hip hop, r&b, rap could just easily say rock and roll sucks and it's not good music. What gives?

  • @jkman10 i can answer that for you. unfortunately, the industry has decided that the best way to make money is to target kids and teens, who don't really question songs, buy into anything that's put in front of them, and don't seek talent. if iit's catchy to them, they'll like it, they don't care about lyrics, all they care about is a song that they can dance to. they haven't been in this world for too long, so they don't know what talent is, so they think this is talent.

  • @jkman10 and unless parents teach them what's good to listen to and what's not, these people are not going to change their opinions and this music will unfortunately continue to be popular, that's pretty much it. hope that was helpful, it's about money and marketability. the reality is if you're played on the radio, you're instantly popular, simple as that.

  • @jkman10 and also, it depends on your taste, rap and r & b were good back in the day, if you're a true hip hop fan, rap was an art of expressing life, but along the way it lost all meaning, the rap you hear on the radio is not real rap music, is hip pop, and r & b used to be beautiful music about soul, but now is auto-tuned hip hop sound with meaningless lyrics, if you don't like the genres, is your opinion .rock isn't marketable anymore, and what kids listen to, that's why is not on the radio.

  • Bobby, you're too awesome

  • it is unfair that Justin Beiber, who has literally NO TALENT, gets famous for retarded songs, and yet a local band in my area, Truth Before Treason (TBT), gets NO respect from any record company. And because of that, this epic metal band broke up. So, thank you music industry, for RUINING TBT's CAREER!

  • justin bieber sucks period

  • Right stop sayin JB because it stands for jack black aswell and hes a world legend so lets not insult his name O_o

  • @XgEnReLaPzE how dare you call the fag a world legend! he is an insult to our culture. all his songs sound like home-made parodies of old pop songs, you need psychosurgery if you really do believe that.

  • @awwq89

I think he meant Jack Black, not the other one.

  • @Rasenin09 oh....., i'm sorry, just a misunderstanding i thought he or she was one of justin's idiot fans, i take it all back

  • "Music industry" is kind of an oxymoron when you think about it. When I think of music, I think of people pouring their hearts and souls into this medium of expression. This type of passion and freedom defies packaging and commercialism. I think those of us who understand this distinction respect the true musicians out there who feel the same way.

  • While we're saying he sucks His making money thats the reality of it.

Its the same as bullshitting a customer selling him a brick and telling him its an Iphone.

  • You know, I take back what I said, 50s-90s music ftw! And today's music still epically fails!

  • 3:21 agreed Bobby!

  • Justin Beiber is more talented that he gets credit for but not enough to warrant his fame.He also totally sucks.

  • @jerryseinfeldisfunny

    You just contradicted yourself.

  • @Rasenin09

Not really, I mean more talent than he gets credit for by people that aren't teenaged girls.

  • A lot of people haven't seen what the record companies are doing. They find some kid with zero talent from a small town in the middle of no where, play with the recordings till it sounds ok, market it towards young impresionable girls and pay the radio stations to play it. They do this every few years like with Erin Carter, Jessie Macartney and now this punk(I refuse to speak his name) The good thing is that no one will care about him in a few years

  • i totally agree with you.Justin bieber. i do acknowledge that he has some musical ability. however he's no better than many other great talented young musicians out there. The only reason he is where he is because he was discovered by usher. other than that, what makes him different from talented undiscovered musicians out there? nothing! he's nothing special. just some kid that was lucky enough to be hand picked and backed up by the media saying he's the best thing in the world.

  • Today my soul cries

  • well said bobby, WELL SAID! and people stop posting what age you are, it doesn't matter how old you if you're 6, 12, 16,17... as long as you know what is the real music, you're the man! (or woman too haha) ;D

  • I'm 17,I just don't know why majority of people cannot comprehend that music these day sucks. They don't know real music is.

  • I don't like to bad talk peoples taste in music, because I dont like it when people talk shit about mine. My iPod is filled with Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and so forth. I just wanna agree with you on how it's unfair how beiber had his success handed to him, look at what Metallica did in the early days, Metallica made mixed tapes and passed them out at shows, for free. That's just a small example.

  • @ShamrockPie

Yeah, Metallica had it really hard until And Justice For All really. Then when The Black Album came out they were blown away with the money... and even after they sold out they still made really good music, with meaningful lyrics, and playing their own instruments, and actually singing and all.

  • @mechaghostman2 i totally agree, metallica had to work their asses off to get to the level of fame they had at the release of And Justice For All, then they really made it big with the black album. I personally don't like the black album or anything that followed.

  • @ShamrockPie Amen brother, amen. FUCKING STUPID MAINSTREAM took over fuckin' METAL. Why.....!
