@videozhero I've seen it 12 times myself, and R3 is -not- a continuation of the story, it is a completely different story centered around a different set of characters. You certainly don't know much about the series and Sunrise do you? This isn't the only show where Sunrise brings a character back to life and doesn't explain how.

Shirley died, his friends died, all the people who really believed in him, so many of them died and he hurt so many people on the way to getting what he wanted. The whole point of 'zero requiem' was for him to atone for his actions, not for him to live. Or else don't you think he would have thought of that.. if he still wanted to live?

Lelouch's plan for a better Britania was brilliant, make the country hate him, and have "zero" assassinate him and make zero the worlds hero, to bring it together. A lot of time was put into this anime and the writers did a very good job of making it come together. Cant wait for the new project they are working on.

I will solve the mystery of the death of Lelouch:

Lelouch became inmortal when he killed the Emperor, but them when Suzaku killed him Lelouch says "You'll have to be the hero and maintain the peace fo the rest of the eternity" ans Suzaku says "I accept this Geass".

So Lelouch died for world and Suzaku accepted to live until the end of time.

Both of them sacrifice for the Zero Requiem.

Watched the last episode yesterday.... Well, today, about 19 hours ago, but that doesn't matter.

I've been watching this Anime for the last one or two weeks, and it totally amazed me. To be honest, it's now my most favorite series of all time. The ending was really sad, but still it's the best I've ever seen. Combined with that music, I felt like I was going to cry or something, even though I didn't (What kinda makes me sad even more.).
