@magnum3121 It's a Tempo, the tail lights on a Topaz are all read, not red/amber, and have a black fade that starts at the center and works it's way out.

I owned a Tempo at one time, it was a great car and served it's purpose well.

I got over 180k miles on it before trading it in, still ran fine using no oil.

Dude.....it's a Tempo. Stop trying to make it seem sporty.

The point is, be happy with your car but with a regular muffler.

Ummm, your not too smart. Unless you just talk to idiots all your life.... My car is actually a 1990 Ford F-150. It's a pretty good truck. 185 horse power 290 foot pounds of torque. 4.9 straight six with the 5 speed. Might not keep up with a lambo, but hey it'll hit 100. And it's not slow.

Which size of tubing did you have to use to put on your glass pack or did you just u-bolt it on the exhaust pipe? Also what glasspack size did you use for your tempo?

i can't remember actual sizes, it's been over a year.. but i think i used 2 u bolts with a female to male adapter of about 2 1/2? and i used the shortest glasspack cherrybomb had at the time, but i'm not sure of the size. it was roughly the same length of the stock muffler with a 2.5 inch inlet and outlet

yeah, i was going to get one, but instead i cut the slot in the bumper that you can see in the video. i actually might still get one just for the "finished" look.

but even without it, i dont think theres a chance it'd burn my bumper, my exhaust is never that hot all the way back there. maybe closer to the engine it'd be a lot hotter.

even with the slot though, i've seen that when the wind's blowing just right my exhaust gasses will come out of the taillight. haha

you remind me of me,LOL, that's how I started out with my sunbird, people(certified mechanics) called it garbage but hey 5 years later(present) I'm still driving my sunbird and it's in better condition than it was back then,and I maintain it myself. it now has 398,000 kms. on it's original 3.1 V6 and 5spd trans. it was worth it in the end. I'm cool with whatever I can get for a car that had no aftermarket parts made for it. It wasn't so much about the exhaust as a learning experience for me. And that's the best part: Learning to do something I haven't done before, no matter how simple it was.
