  • @bgiles301 Thank you, I appreciate the comment!

  • So practically we are talking about multiple DC in only one CH, eh?

  • 5 double crochet in the same stitch.

  • can you use any can of yarn

  • Yes.

  • Now, this is a good speed. I love ur works

  • Thank you. :)

  • You are my favourite coach. I never know how to read crochet books. Thanks for youtube. Now I can look at the video and learn. Thanks for Teresa for your slow motion video. Now I can accomplish something Yaaaahoooooo.

  • You are welcome. Thank you for your comment.

  • Teresa's instruction videos never cease to amaze me. Because I'm lefthanded, nobody could ever teach me how to crochet. It took me 51 years to find Teresa's "How To's", and now it all seems so easy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.... and thank you once again!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Please give me the pattern

  • The instructions to the pattern are posted to the right of the video under "More Info"

  • This has inspired me to rip out the first 5 rows of a baby blanket I've just started for a friend and do it with the shell stitch instead :) Thank you for all you do!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • im almost finished with my blanket but i dont know how to finish so that i can have a perfect rectangle ( so top and bottom are the same)do i do the top half like you did the demo on the catherine wheel less loops of course but that would work wright ?and what edge do you recommend for this stich? pc i used the Chainless Half Double Crochet Foundation and it looks great i hate the big wholes at the bottom i love this method its awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You can end it like the valley row on Catherines wheel so it is all filled in. The other alternative that I have done before is to leave the rounded edge, crochet shells on the starting edge, and sides so it is all the same rounded shell edging. That looks nice too. You could do a shell with chain 1 between each stich and picot.

  • tjw1963 you and those of your caliber are truly a godsend. I thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I've leared so much from these video tutorials. I just hope that someday I'll be able to give back to the "community."

  • Thank you for visiting my channel here on Youtube. --Teresa

  • Thank you so very much for showing this stitch. I'm still learning the difference with single, double & triple crochet. To see it in slow motion makes it easier for me to learn it.

  • You are welcome. :)

  • tjw1963 i have started to crochet, dont have anything in mind yet just playing with the thread and so far i am a disaster but i'm also having fun doing it. can you please do a video about sizes of the thread or yarn? like what kind of results will thick yarn give and what results will thinner ones give and also about what size of crochet stick is good for thick/thin yarns???? please!!!

  • will try this today....good luck to me ;)
