I love Harry Potter, and yes, I do wish I was a witch/wizard, bu in like, an entertaining and joking way. The books are really good, not just a series that's "mainstreaming witchcraft." I'm a crazed deranged fan, but I haven't tried hexing my unfriendly classmates. I come from a Christian family and my mother is the one who suggested Harry Potter to me. If you have even read the books, or fully grasped the concept, Harry represents friendship, trust, goodness, and love towards others.

I love Harry Potter, and yes, I do wish I was a witch/wizard, bu in like, an entertaining and joking way. The books are really good, not just a series that's "mainstreaming witchcraft." I'm a crazed deranged fan, but I haven't tried hexing my unfriendly classmates. I come from a Christian family and my mother is the one who suggested Harry Potter to me. If you have even read the books, or fully grasped the concept, Harry represents friendship, trust, goodness, and love towards others.

I can see how this would be extremely terrifying to someone that thinks magic is real. That's where we need to start in order to understand someone like this. Interestingly enough, I know of people who loathe harry potter (for the magic) but love lord of the rings, eragon, and chronicles of narnia.
