@canislovely Different producers/shows do different things. The artist signs a waiver and the producer pays the rights to the tune and likeness and that's that, the artist has little feedback. I love The Killers, but listen to how every long note just snaps onto one frequency. No human being sings like that. I'm not saying he's a bad singer. Neither is that guy Michael Buble, but listen to his most recent single (forgot what it's called) and you'll hear the same effect.
