  • Best part!

  • Hes singing in souix im pretty sure

  • This man *will* win an Oscar.

  • I have never heard this man sing in English.

  • I love this scene, it filled me with awe after watching it!!! o.o

  • In this movie her mother is deceased when he was a child and her name was Blue child and what he sees are the spirits of her mother and his being a child or there had been break-up by the death of her mother.

  • he is calling on the spirits of his ancestors to help him

  • does anyone know the translation of what he's singing?? :]

  • I don't know the translation, I could get it. But, to help you out...this is a Lakota ghost song. Hope that puts you in the right direction. =)

  • Yeah, i learned a few things in lakota language, but VERY few. I did get some words like "tunkashila" these are the ghost spirits, he's asking them for help and i think "Heya" means "No". In the end he calls for his mother and says "Homakiayo", that means "help me!"

I don't know if this helps you...

  • thanks its helping a bit :]

  • As has been said this is the ghost dance. The Lakota have a way of saying Many words. But only really saying a few. He is calling his family and people to come and save him. To take him from this world. To take him to the place of the great ancesters.

  • im american indian and my family is now just admitting it and we finally got accepted back intot he tribe because we found our ancestors on the dawes rolls

  • @mouslim1982 : first off it's his grandmother. Second off if Hidalgo dies Frank dies this is the essence of the circle of life. We are all dependant on one another for our lives. Have some respect and if you don't understand something ask... People will be more than happy to help you.

  • ASSHOLE TEHEHEHEHE!!!

  • Where can you find this music it is tight who is doing it? I must know

  • This movie is based on a true story, and I love this movie, I wish I could own it, its a big inspiration

  • I really loved this movie. Especially this scene. Once my whole life fell apart and felt exactly the same way as this scene. The other scenes I like are the final race, and the scene where they rescue the Sheik's daughter.

  • He is on Peyote!

  • Thanks for upload this part of the film!!!I love it! :D

  • some plz post the whole movie

  • love viggo singing

  • Can someone send me what he's saying?

Both in the Native language he's singing and in english please?

    It would be much appreciated.

  • @Tryptamine420 : it's my understanding that Viggo is singing in Lakota. Understanding what he's singing is easy... He's pleading for the help of the ancestors. The help of the Great Spirit and any other relative who will listen or can hear.

I don't have the exact words, but then when you watch this, do you really need them?
