Yes unfortunately the lobby broke down and when it was fixed they didn't put the banner back. tak and all the other stuff such as mods can now be downloaded from the link in the description under downloads

@soulman6t6 the main problem is getting enough people to play and that is caused by the shitty lobby's, axlrose-rx has recently made a custom lobby tha works, is fast but keeps the good features of gs, we're playing on warzone untill it gets past beta but once it is done many old players will return, they are slowly coming back, join the forum in the description *most* active players usually post there. I am ace btw

@SnoopPog Glad we have a fan lol. Most people hated us. I'm DoS btw, and trust me, I've lost a bunch. Just won a lot more than I've lost. Nobody's unbeatable. I know TDs. Was wolf (savage), clay and diss. last time I checked. Prefer KM. Anyway, I'll probably drop by in a month or two to see if that lobby you mention works (has actual people playing in it). If it's good, we might come back. If not... o well. Don't really have time to wait 2 hours for one game lol

I went on Ewarzone and apparently TAK is not working no one owns the domain, allthough loading TA core contingency/battle tactics works and theres people playing in there.

The website which hosted a banner graphic like you see in the TA lobby expired so now it loads the broken url picture ;P. The lobby still works but its just damn annoying with that site loaded up the top as you can't see any games or chat so people havn't played for a while. Once that link for the banner gets removed by the admin people will start playing again, keep checking back to see, we are actually playing in the 'other games' lobby until it is fixed

Its very strange how some can't get this to work on vista, it works perfectly for me. Are you installing on an administrator account? also you could try running the game under different compatibility modes. I'll post a link to the iron plague when i find it :D

ur minerals are infinite. u need mana (towers called mana who mana power) and u have 1 hero who build and stuuff, and.. hmm 5 totally dif races. AoE its the same races. Little dif but not much, and in TAK are lot dif sorry i speak wierd english

yes it works perfectly for vista my good man, the iron plague expansion pack (all apart from the video clips) is included in the latest patch which can be downloaded from the tak lobby. If you want the videos i believe someone has uploaded them somewhere else, if you talk to the guys they'll probably know

quality! just did that and for the first time in about a yr the kingdoms logo came up when i first clicked it! but then as it always has; its just gone black after that and the introduction video never plays, do u think its something to do with the resolution? but it dusnt even play sound either im confused, sorry this is such a late reply i didnt check my youtube account

are you installing from the original cd? have you tried installing to a different directory? what os are you running? it does work on vista but vista is a stupid os you might need to run as admin or something.

If you still can't get it running sign up to the forums website in the description, and post there, they know all about mods and i'm sure they will help sort it out. There are also links to download a different install of the game which has worked for everybody although i dunno the link

but as i say post in the forums and they will link you to a clean install, i know how the mods can sometimes break the game, i makes 2 seperate installs one for mods the other for online play. Hope that helps

iv reinstalled it countless hundreds of times, it just hasnt worked, its one of my favourite games of all time, its the only one iv never got bored of. so i have tried so much, the only thing i can think thats wrong is that about 2 years ago i downloaded basically everything new that was ever made for the game third party, and iv reinstalled my comp a few times b4 then and kept transferring all those files across, so i may have some sorta virus thats affecting it?

with TA u can build tons of units and all u need to do is rush commander and games over. maps are way to big. games take too long. TAK rules

TAK has much more variety than TA. There are many more gameplay styles in tak because the different races have different strengths and weaknesses, not like in TA where the two sides are identical, now that is repetative!
