why's the guy complaining when he was the one who was trying to snatch the food. Beggars can't be choosy. The guy's homeless or whatever. There are rules, fool. I was living in a shelter and there was a curfew. You don't want to follow the rules, then leaves. Be happy you're even getting help A-hole
OK, let me get this straight..these people are HUNGRY, and out of the goodness of others' hearts, they are feeding the hungry people....then these whackos come and TAKE IT AWAY?????? WTF ..RU kidding me? You can go to a nasty ass dirty hotdog stand in front of ANY Home Depot..but you cannot eat this? Oh my God! UN-BELIEVABLE!!! FIGHT, don't let this happen. Choose a new place, carpool, and defend your right to eat. THIS IS INSANE!!!!!!!!
I don't get it. A person in Connecticut can sign a waiver and acknowledge inherently dangerous activities like horseback riding. Why not just say "Okay..everyone who eats at the FNB table must sign a waiver acknowledging that they realize this is not a licensed establishment and that they assume the risk in the event of food borne illness." ? We need a way to make this stuff legal. It's all about 'What If'? 'What if someone got sick'? If everyone acknowledges the risk - it's on them.
@DDreslough That's why FNB is different. They're not a licensed organization by choice, not because it's the easy route. It's a protest, not a charity. We're trying to say: food is not a privilege that some authority can or cannot bestow, it is a right of every human being. Humans NEED to eat and those with a surplus of food can share with those who cannot find food on their own. We purposefully do it this way; no one should be ALLOWED to deny food to others, not even cops, presidents or kings.
@DDreslough Saying that it needs to be governmentally acknowledged or solicited in order to be safe, legitimate or effective is a lie that contributes to the myth of food scarcity. No one should need permission to share food, and the government shouldn't have authority to take food away. I'm totally with you, it is on them. But it isn't--and should never be--in the power of the police to decide that.
