Why not just get a NES emulator like nesDS and just get your self some games that Nintendo did for gameboy, Also there are gameboy games on the Super nintendo which you can get a emulator SNEmulDSv06a... And so far i've seen those emu... work on M3i Zero... But any who :) have fun with it :D... I love playing my Supero mario bros in the NES and now its portable :D... Takes me back :D

i like both psp and ds but i find homebrew to be alot easier on a ds rather than having to risk bricking a ds with a new battery, you can just insert an acekard or supercard and they will work perfectly

you actually need the right emulator (for example not VisualBoyAdvance but lameboy) and you need one of the cards (adapter) where you can put in some microsd cards

maybe on the light it works even on SD, but i dont know

@Nintendofreak75 from what i read, hardware limitations on common slot 1 cards (r4, r4i, acekard) they cant emulate the gba. but, ive heard the the iplayer can play gba game via gbadsi. visit the site to learn more. gbadsi dot com

no with psp, you're even able to play,

game boy, gb color, gb advanced, nintendo, super nintendo, sega (dont know which all), ps1 and psp games

only thing is (still) n64 and DS, but everything else works fine, on the DS you have just DS (and with complicated "modding" gameboy, and maybe advanced)

They didn't do that to be evil, but limited backward compatibility "due to a slightly different form factor, voltage requirements, and the absence of the compatibility mode." So, in short, no. But if that can ease your guilt, it's legal to emulate games you already own.

No, but if you get an expansion pack for your flash cart like an EZFLASH V 3 in 1 for the CycloDS you can boot up GBA roms using the GBA emulator built into the DS.

The brightness comparison is just stupid. The creator is going on and on about brightness. The DS lite is BACKLIT. that means it has a light. For a fair comparison, you should do it on a DS phat and turn off the backlight (lites dont turn off, they just dim)

i have a flash card but it is for gba, not for ds. it works in my ds tho. i dont have a writer. if i acquired a writer would i beable to write a gbc rom to it and play it on a gba or a ds in gb mode? or is it necessary that i get a new flashcard for the ds in order to emulate gameboy games. because my gba flash card can emulate nes and gba. is a ds flashcard going to be able to emulate other systems too?
