Teachers of my mother's generation--who taught from 1923 to 1970--didn't have to worry about diversity, multiculturism, bilingual education, LGBT's--they taught to the normal students, not the nincompoops and screwballs. She would read the Bible in class--which never seemed to hurt anyone--and tell her students to go to church and Sunday School--adults she taught over 80 years ago as 4th graders and now close to 90 still remember her with fondness and respect.

How completely true. XD I went to public school until this year (I'm currently a junior), and the majority of students didn't seem to have any idea what was going on in the world or were under the impression that the country owes them something. One girl even though the draft was still in effect.

Although it has it's flaws, I still love this country and believe it's better than anywhere else in the world. If you don't like it, you should leave.

You get what you earn and you donate what you want. If you want to have a voice, vote and/or become active. Does O'Reilly assume that each American owes its country something?
