@MultiPrismatic I didn't really mind the 3DS ver. If you look back at the rest of the Sonic handheld games, Sonic has always been in 2D gameplay. Same goes with Rush. The 360/PS3 ver. stick with the Classic 2D and Modern 3D since Modern Sonic was always in 3D for home systems. As for the handhelds, Modern was always in 2D play so Generations on 3DS sticked with that 2D Modern like the home consoles sticked with 3D modern.
