Ibn Taymiyya's student Imam Ibn al_Qayyim also narrate the permissibility of using talisman from a number of salafs including the greta Imam Ahmad idn Hanbal. Thereafter Idn al-Qayyim qoutes various talisman.
the gr88 thing u found .. i like u r style dear.. i did read in one Hadees long ago there i s allow this amulet.. but i really to say sorry becoz i forget that hadees.. becoz i am so far from house.. but i hope i will get soon that Hadees insha ALLAH .. then i will explain..its depend on our self .. if our Faith is 100% on ALLAH.. also we cannt forget which knowledge which ALLAH gave us..to make our life as Eniginner like Alim...like this youtube point...May ALLAH Bless Alls...
This is false. There are at least 2 narrations in the Muwatta of Imam Malik (book 50) that allow the use of Talismans. In one narration the Prophet states " Why don't you find someone to make a talisman". This means there were people practising this already in the community and it was accepted. Abdullah ibn Amr used to hang a dua around the necks of his children who were not old enough to learn it as recorded by Tirmidhi and used by Imam Nawawi in his Majmu as permissibility for amulets.

There might be more than 2 narrations that mentions the use of talisman/taweez.
"Ali radhiyallahu anhu says: This Duas should be written written and tied to the arm of the woman. We experience taht there is nothing more amazin than this."
(from Fatawa Ibn Taymiyya, 19/65)
Theres also one for use of evil eye and scorpion stings. I forget exact passage.
who was picking it with his hand, and when (the Jew) uttered the spell, he stopped. All you needed to do was to say as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: Adh-hib al-bas Rabb an-Nas ishfi anta ash-Shafi la shifaa illa shifauka shifaan la yughadiru saqaman (Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind, and heal, You are the Healer. Zaynab, the wife of `Abdullah ibn Mas`ud, reported that `Abdullah ibn Mas`ud (may Allah be pleased with him) stated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Spells, amulets and love-charms are (forms of) shirk. `Abdullah said, Why do you say this? By Allah, when I was weeping eczema, I kept going to so and so, the Jew, who did a spell for me and made the thing calm down. `Abdullah said: That was just the work of Satan,
there are a couple of hadiths about this subject out there so it wont harm people to do some research. the quran does not mention amulets or anything similar to it NOT ONCE so the proof is in the pudding.
companions used to hang it for kids that were not at an age of reason meaning they had not hit puberty and could not read quran or pray let alone memorise any specific duas. though these amulets may have their benefits they also have a lot of negatives, so if something is contradicting itself i.e. taweez. then it should not be used, whats wrong with praying and remembering allah. keep it real - keep it simple stick to the quran and the sunnah not these innovations that have been invented.
jazaakAllahu khairan, howmany pple i see wearing amulets! they even put it on their kids, authubillah. may Allah protect us,for surely He is our Only Protector
yeh subhanallah they use it very commen like there was a kebbab shop that i was going to once and he had this eye on the wall so i decided to give him advise but he was realy realy angry he said he was muslim but hey when i told him that it was shirk he said that he didnt belive in it but it was deccoration he then gave me the worts serve of meat ever i dont by from him any more lailahaillalah

i dont fear allah, but i do fear the zealots who stone their women and kill the unbeliever.other than that most religions are simply infantile.
