At 1:48 in the video you say that after "Stonewall"Jackson was shot by friendly fire, "he died a couple of days later". He was shot on the evening of 02May1863 and did not die until 10May1863. For several days his health was improving. It was finally pneumonia that killed him eight days later. If you're going to tell us some history, you MUST have your facts straight. Your teacher should have never given you an A+.
you moron, the war was about the union vs. confederacy, those are actual things, not just names. a union of states under one banner, or a confederation of states left to govern themselves. you make me sick, nazi scum, support the confederacy, abolish slavery!
Good video with an interesting take on the effects it would have later at Gettysburg, it has some merrit, but there were other factors also. Until Lincoln asked for troops to invade the Confederacy there were more slave states in the Union than the Confederacy, but other southern states knew the federal gov't was wrong in wanting to make war against the south they rightly joined the C.S.A., but a good video keep up your research but remember to be open minded, winners write history.
well you did good like i said keep up the research, i think you make a good point about Lees loses hurting him later, that was the souths downfall all along, we couldnt replenish men or supplies.
Good you should consider getting into reenacting, i started it last summer and it is a really fun hobby, i dont know what state you are from but if you have any southern ansesters in the war you could join the SCV i think northern states have the sons of northern vetrens also. i wish i had gotten involved in both of these things when i was younger, most of us here in my area that are in these are history buffs.
lol we did reenact the battle of gettsburg a couple of times in school and im a northener but i hav relatives down south i doubt ther are any veterans though
You honestly think we would still have slavery today if the Confederacy had won the civil war? I highly doubt it. The "civil war" was about the balance of power between the states and the federal government. The Feds won and know we have an empire to show for it. Ask the descendants of the Sioux how they feel about the bluecoats and their empire.
