Another thing that MLP:FiM made me discover. And this song is actually good! This music genre is generally restricted for adolescent idiots who rebel against mommy, daddy, broccoli and school but this song I can approve :)

OH JESUS FUCKING CHRIST WHAT DID THEY DO?! Really?! They took a song by one of the most important and influential punk bands of the CBGB's era and turned it into a cleaned-up, mediocre rock song with whiny childlike vocals that is only popular because of my little pony of all things! Damn my morbid curiosity! Seriously, people, do yourself a favour and check out the original recording by Richard Hell and the Voidoids.

@MegaJoMan112 Obviously lots of people prefer it more, its been tailor made to gain more of an audience. All the raw and agressive elements (that most people have trouble with) to the song were removed. But punk just wasn't supposed to sound nice. I guess Crass put it best "yes that's right, punk is dead, its just another cheap product for the consumer's head, Bubblegum rock on plastic transistors, Schoolboy sedition backed by big time promoters."
