Everything worked perfectly until I received this mesg, What is this about? :(-->>> [2012-02-21 23:48:34 - SDK Manager] Unable to find a 'userdata.img' file for ABI armeabi to copy into the AVD folder.
hey i need help. i installed the java and when i try to run eclipse it says that java is not installed more or less. please help me trying to root a htc evo 4g on 2.3.5 and my command prompt wont run abd shell. thanx
Yes, the process to install the Android SDK is difficult, but we made it as easy as we could. We managed to condense a procedure that would normally take several hours into about 15 minutes. It is quite difficult to install the SDK without prior knowledge, so we tried to make it so that others could follow our procedure and successfully install all of the components. If you follow our steps, you should be able to begin application development very soon. Good luck!
I have a question when I go in eclipse and I go to windows When I go down it dosent say sdk and avd it just says adk. and also when I go to preferences in the window thing when I locate the sdk its fine but after theres juste 1 target name and its android 4.0 !
There might have been a problem in your installation at the point where it asks you to install the ADT plugin. The SDK and AVD menu item will only show up if the ADT plugin was installed fully. I would recommend trying to install the ADT plugin again from this point in the video: 7:35 .

Hello,
I saw that as well. Before it used to say Helios. I don't think that it is much of a difference to be worried about. Best of luck.

I have followed your instructions to the letter but my "Target Name" is still empty. Do you know what causes that?
