  • funny thing is everything I have is affilieated with digitech, M-Audio fast track Ultra 8R, Pro Tools.and how can I connect this to my Mixer to record

  • I bought the RP150 and I tryed installing the drivers, and I keep getting an AISO driver error, I'am running windows Vista, is that a problem and I can I fix it

  • What settings did you use for the bass guitar sound?

  • What is better Rp150 or Rp90?

Which have more effects and stuffs, my english is bad, so i can not say what i mean, but i thing you will understand me... peace :D

  • how do i record on that?

  • i have an rp255, but when i record it with usb and play back on the pc...it sounds very bad?

  • What effect were you using for the riffs?

  • Does this pedal work with a bass guitar?

  • How to i record to my computer with this pedal

  • with usb and audio-software (audacity, adobe audition...)

  • Got one 2day for xmas!!!

  • could u record vocals on top of ur track too|? how would u do that\?

  • Comment removed

  • does this thing have a loop thingy in it ??

  • this pedal is AMAZING! my shitty squier now sounds like a gibson this is so great now i dont have to spend $2000 on a better guitar

  • i love it to... but i dont know how to record with it

  • Hey man which drum setting is this? I cant seem to find it...

  • so u can plug it to the PC and use your computer as an amp right? and does it sounds good?

  • I would rather take the digitech because you can scroll through presets without having to bend over and press up or down

  • What's the difference between thisRP150 and RP155?

  • The 155 is basically an updated version of the 150. It has a few new amp models, studio effects, drum patterns and such. It is basically like buying an upgrade.

  • Hello!

I've bought this pedal quite a while ago and I haven't been able to find a good setting for the wah effect... could you help me out.. I am trying to get something as close as the boss aw3... if possible..

    Please>>

  • ok so Digitech RP150 Vs pocket pod? which would you rather have?

  • I can't really answer that because I have never personally tried a pocket pod before so I don't want to say I'd rather one over the other without trying both of them on first hand basis.

  • i have a rp150 but dont no how to record with it. help me?

  • i just got the RP 155 what the differrence between the two

  • The only real difference is the 155 comes with a few more amp models, effects and drum patterns. There really is much difference other than the 155 is more of a updated/upgraded version of the 150.

  • @MetalMathias THE RP155 has a LOOPER its a huge benefit.

  • @abergreg my amp has a looper. Cool idea, but after awhile I just don't find myself using it anymore.

  • @Pianoblacks I had been playing for 25 years and then my wife bought me a looper. I use it every time i play, its like having someone to jam with. maybe you dont write any stuff of your own, i couldnt do without it now.

  • @abergreg actually I do write stuff on my own. But in a sense, I got a band going... so... whatever I write I write with them. Looper for me is just a fun function, especially if the looper is going good for another guitar. If I want to make a song, I would need drums + bass, etc...

  • @Pianoblacks most loopers include drum machines and you use the 1 octive down pitch shift for bass. a looper with a minute or so loop is the easiest writing/recording tool there is. Its only a fun function if you dont know how to use it.

  • @abergreg is funny how defendent you are of your investment. You had to both reply a message to me here PLUS you have to sent me a message to my inbox in an attempt to make me feel bad. Not everyone in this world have to think the same way you do, you 40 year old b@stard.

  • @Pianoblacks If you could play a bit your opinion might be worth something but you cant and it isnt. you made a point which is nonsense and you cant defend it. now all you can do is swear at me, what a sad individual.

  • @MetalMathias

If I'm not wrong, the 155 also includes a looper...

  • @dxcharger The main difference beetween old and new Digitech effect procesors is a DSP processor. The old units (RP150, RP250, RP350) had AudioDNA DSP processor and the new ones (RP155, RP255, RP355...; except RP55) have new AudioDNA2 DSP processor. That means latest sieries have more powerful audio engine, so they just sound better.

  • Cheers dude. Really helped alot. Can't wait to get this now:)

  • Nice demo dude

Ok I'm thinking of getting something like this for my birthday and I'm not sure how it works atm.

Does this have a recording program built into it so you can record your own tunes?

Also is it possible to create your own tones e.g to make a more post-grunge sound, pure metallic metal, and so on?

Also I've got a fender amp and a vox amp. Does that affect the pedal and how it sounds when you're playin?

Thanks Looking forward to getting this

  • The recording program is not built in, you have to d/l one. You can record via a USB cable from the pedal to the pc providing the pedal you are looking at comes with the USB output.

It is beyond possible to create a huge variety of tones, effects and other cool shit with this pedal. You can definitely get a grunge sound and a straight up metal tone. (D/l X-Edit of of digitechs website so you can have a digital interface, it makes it easy to shape your sounds.)

The amp model is not a biggy.

  • Awesome!! The RP-150 has been discontinued, and replaced with the RP-155. I just bought the 155...It's Awesome!!...\m/

  • dude this song is pretty rad for a little demo to show off the pedal.

that distortion is pretty sweet too, but thats the one thing i dont like about this pedal, i cant find a solid setting to get good distortion for like palm muting and punk rock kind of stuff.

would you mind telling me what you're using for settings?

  • i've got that one pedal rp150 and i don't know how to work it i don't know how to... with guitar

  • Hey MetalMathias good video, but im wondering whether to get the RP90 or RP150, i was assuming the RP150 was better but some people are saying its the same as the RP90 only without the expression pedal is this true? i so want one of these bad boys :P

  • Well I can tell you right now that the 150 comes with a lot more to offer than the 90. One of the main differences being the 90 has the expression pedal but less tone libraries, amp.cab models, effects than the 150. The 150 also has an acoustic guitar emulator, a lot tone ranges and the USB out for recording which the 90 doesn't have. All you need is a volume pedal to control the expression (seeing as it doesn't come with one) Or buy the 250 which has all the stuff but with an expression pedal.

  • Hey thanks dude, I thought the RP90 had the USB port too, well looks like i'll be buying the 150 because its all i can really afford until i save up for a boss GT10, i could really use the recording features on it.

    Thanks again man.

  • Hi,this looks and sounds amazing,is this analog or digital?

  • This is a digital recording.

  • Hi, Mathias can you help me?

The presets for RP150 are compatible to RP250?

    tnx

  • Yes, if you d/l the program X-Edit and you save your custom settings you should be able to open them with the 250 as well.

  • i have one of these things, lost the manual, how do you switch drum settings?

  • toggle your arrow buttons until the LED lands on the red strip then it's just a mattsr of turnin the knobs giggity

  • lmao love the riff lol XD

    Its epicc (:

    5*... faves (:

    CHEAHHH!!

    x

  • cool absolutely amazing i cant wait for getting my rp 350 from german

  • sick bro! You can do a lot more with the 350, plus it is nicer to have the three separate presets on the foot switch's.

  • im get me one two i have adobe 1.5 butt like you said i use it on audacity becase you dont need much to run on the pc butt with adobie you have to have a stroung pc

  • True, I agree with you there mate. I'm going to be buying a Mac Book soon so I will be then running Pro Tools:D

  • hey man before you go watse money on protools just letting you no you can get it for free on the net

  • Thanks for the heads up and I do know how to get it free off the net, but my music teacher is given me his version of it so I'm getting it free either way lol.

But yeah I would def check the net before going out and spending all that money on a program. If you got money to blow then why not, if not...yeah check the net lol.

  • how does this pedal sound? will it make my line six spider III amp sound any better?

  • This pedal sounds really good, will it make your amp sound better...I wouldn't say better but it will give you a much wider horizon of tone choices and really good effects. You will be able to create and replicate some of your favorite artist's guitar sounds and such...it is a great tool to help achieve great tone...

I play through my Randall RG100 G3 Plus series amp straight because I prefer the amps overdrive channel in its natural sate and use stomp boxes...it would really be personal choice

  • I think it's a little stock and it needed more cowbell!!!!,lol

  • NEVER QUESTION BRUCE DICKINSON!

  • how do you record???

  • USB direct into the pc from the pedal and then onto just a simple free recording program called Audacity.

From there I just mix my tracks, check out my new demo, it has more tracks mixed together showing all the sweet tones and sounds you can get out of the RP-150.

  • Do you know have USB cable you need to record? I can't find one anywhere.

  • so is the bass effect a preset?

i have the rp50, but it don't have the bass preset :(.

  • Yeah it is a preset that came with my pedal, if you are interested bro just hit back and I will send you the specs on how to make the bass tone, hopefully it will work with your RP-50.

  • thanks, i guess i can try making it on the rp-50, hopefully it will work, i believe the rp-150 and rp-50 have the same options to custom creation.

  • I own one of these little gems also; I was totally blown away by the tones I can get from it; I did'nt think much of it because it looked like a movie prop from "Star Trek" that Spock would carry with him; I plugged into this thing and went "Holy Crap!!",I was looking for a certain amp sound for Decades and this Little 'StarTrek'lookin' thing's Nailed it,Awesome Pedal.

  • I agree with you. Digitech really nailed it with their RP series. Great tone which is hard to find in a lot of these types of pedals, usually the sound is very synthetic and lacks personality. With this guy you just plug in your 6/7 stringer and you are welcomed by amazing tone and so many possibilities:D

  • Sounds great 5*. Two questions: was the bass done with the guitar->bass effect, and were the drums recorded in more than one pass (how did yo get the triangle-like sound in there at what seem like irregular intervals?

  • Bass was done with the guitar with a bass effect and the drums were done in one take, the RP-150 offers a wide range of beats in many different styles of music, time signatures and sounds.

It is literally a little one man band.

  • Yes, it is. I own one, and I love it, but you've seemed to have gotten a bit more out of it than I have so far. I will go through the drum rhythms once more the next time I take it out. Thanks!

  • Yeah, their are more patterns on it than you think, took me a little while and so fiddling around with it to find there were many more patterns to choose from.

  • can you make a wah sound on this pedal

  • Oh yeah, there are three different wah settings which you can mix around with all sorts of effects and tone choices.

  • Yeah, but in all honestly the Wah Wah sucks. Everything use is good. I love this pedal.

  • It definately is not the greatest I'll agree, but if you buy a basic volume pedal you can control it which makes it a lot nicer.

  • thats pretty good im gettin one for christmas

  • Awesome man, I love it...I mainly use it for recording and just playing guitar late at night when the neighbours don't appreciate loud noise lol.

(Only because I bought a Randall tubed amp so...not gonna use a processor with an already amazing sounding amp.)

  • Im hoping you can help me my rp 150 just decided to stop working one day and i can turn it on but it just says 91 on the front

  • First thing you should always try is doing a factory reset. It says in the manual how to do so. Try doing that, it should work.

  • thank you a load!!

I hadn't hotten it to work in 3 years!!

    the factory reset worked!

  • Np problem at all man. Glad it worked:D Such a kickass pedal. I hope you can start back up kicking some ass with it:D

  • Good enough, even wonderful, to play at home. Doubled with a Roland X-15 you can disturb the neighbours.

  • im having a prob with mine. when i plug it in and stuff theres barly any sound but u can still hear it. any1 message me how i can fix it plz.

  • Have you tried turning the master volume up on the pedal itself...sometimes I for get to do that and I get barely any sound even though my amp is cranked right up.

  • will this be a great buy if i have separate effects and the other for this?

  • Well if you have other effects it will still work with them, this isn't so much an effects pedal as it is a modulator. This pedal is more based on taking famous amp heads, cabs, pedals and tones processing them in a way that allows you to create your own amazing tone and personal sound with out spending hundreds of dollars on heads, camps and multiple pedals. So yeah I see a lot of guitar players who have one these pedals hooked up with other effects to get the effect they want.

  • I'm about to buy one of these. How do you like yours?

  • I love it, best investment I have made guitar effects wise yet. Great tones, cabs, heads, distortion boxes, effects...I mean it has it all. The drum machine is excellent, the usb apt is extremely handy, two out outs for a great stereo sound, and input for an expression pedal.

It is a great investment, I highly support this product. I hope you will enjoy it and have fun:D

  • Thanks for the information! Now I'm getting for sure. Thanks again!

  • Np problem at all man, I put the video up for people looking to buy one, I will put up a video going through all the features in a visual demonstration some time this week.

  • I can't wait until you get that up! I hope to buy mine sometime this week.
