@1969JohnnyM Wait, you know that Jackie Wilson didn't write the music or the lyrics to "Higher & Higher", didn't play any of the instruments, and the 1960s music scene had a much higher rate of cover songs and ALL televised music was lip-synched on variety and late-night shows. So I'm not really sure what you're saying, but nothing you said there is true in the slightest for the point you're trying to make.

Yup, I too found this song because of Ghostbusters 2 Lmfao. I was a kid when it came out and when this played in the movie I instantly fell in love with it. I'm 37 and my parents brought me up on excellent music. That's why I'm one of the only white guys who sings soul music like Jackie and Bill Withers (another amazing performer).
