The 08+ WRX tranny becomes weak after 350 whp. After that you need to see about getting the STi 6 speed tranny installed. It is stronger. Also, I agree that you are shifting way too early. With every shift you are almost shifting out of the power "zone". With the AP Stage 2 you should easily be able to hit 6.8-7.0 and then shift. I too own a 2010 WRX Stage 2.

@yerwhogivesa I just heard that they don't make power after 6.5rpm so I shift at 6k and I don't want to put more stress on the vales, or blow my shit up. Haha, thanks for the comment:)
@yerwhogivesa i had a 08 wrx stage2 and learning from driving at drag strip shifting 6k is faster than going to redline i dropped .3 of a second by shifting early 13.8s to 13.5s hope that helps u

doesnt look like a stage 2. I drove an 04 sti stage 1 seemed faster, my brothers stock 05 sti seems alot faster than that. not trying to hate just speculating

@LilNug Perhaps it's the STi's shorter gears making it seem faster. The quicker revs and more frequent shifting could easily give that effect, I'd imagine.
How much did the stage two run ya. Im new at this and im in the process of purchasing my 2010 WRX. Do you have any other mods in your car? Exhaust, intake, anything?
@bpryan422 well it ran me 550$ for the Cobb Accessport and i got a invidia cattless downpipe for 330$ and i kep the stock 2.5'in SPT catback. this is called a stage two setup. You dont need to see a dyno if you do a stage1 or stage2. The Accessport is a hand held programer with pre set map's so just pulg n play.
