How far of the road is the falls? Great video!

@bak05gto The Visitor center is about 3/4 to 1 mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway at MP-316.3 From the visitors center it's about 1/2 mile hike to the falls. Additional trails will take you further up the gorge for even better views of the falls. It’s a beautiful area and I would highly recommend the side trip.

@Woodenarrows I dont live far from lineville, i go there every once in awhile for a nice hike! south mtn state park and chimney rock are also very nice so if youve never been there then you should definatly see them also!

@Woodenarrows south mtn isnt far from linville and its very easy to get there, its only an hour or so away. it'd take a bit longer to get to chimney rock/lake lure but trust me...its worth the drive with its 400ft waterfalls and town in the valley below!
